Alright, mixing it up. Going with the blues but not the standard 12 bar, we have this rocking I, III, IV thing going and I am going to show you how to spicin it up with some hammer ons on the one chord to give the vamp a little bit of groove and movement in its own right. Get your E chord ready!

That is a great song, I was playing it on guitar the other day, there are some pretty big note jumps it might be tricky for me to get it to sound just like Skynyrd did, but I can give it a go. At its heart it is a D-C-G progression if you want to start noodling around but they make it quite a bit fancier. Let me see what I can do, great song.
