Hi everybody, I am working on a new website. Well, better yet on making the old website new. I don't know when it is going to be done because it is a massive project, but it is going to be very exciting. You will be able to create a profile and keep track of the lessons that you have done, there will be courses similar to our challenges so you will be able to focus on areas of your playing and improve, it is going to be a place for you to maximize your learning, but it is a massive project so I can't say when.

What I need know are testimonials about your experience learning with Tenthumbs. The idea is that these will scroll somewhere on the website so people can see that my teaching method has been helpful. Feel free to make a comment here and there is a chance that someday you will see it on the website!

In the five or so years that I have learned from Tyler online, I have found him to be intelligent, caring, and truly passionate about the learning of students. He enlivens the field of online music education with a positive enthusiasm that is effective and contagious. His instructional style is one of creativity and patience. He encourages students to explore and learn as individuals, giving them great freedom within a thoughtful structure that encourages all to succeed. His lessons are fun and engaging, and the community he has created is supportive and encouraging. He is infinitely likable. I once posted “I've never met you, man, but you're like my 7th best friend. Rock on, brother". He quickly answered, “I bet those other 6 people are some really cool folks”.

I started following Tyler courses through a blues challenge on instagram. Each lesson was clear and fun. Tyler often has stories to tell before or after the lessons and I had so many laughs! I the end of the challenge I realised how much I had progressed in such a short time, and I was hooked by ukulele blues. Also it made me feel part of a community, which I had not found before because I don't know other ukulele players. So I decided to become a patreon and it's soo cool! So much to learn! Thanks Tyler :-)
