Just a couple of days ago I introduced you to a very fun open tuning, open A - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-p6-4... - and this is the tuning that Elmore James, Duane Allman and Joe Walsh would use when they would play their amazing blues influenced rock and acoustic blues. On the guitar it is open E, but with a capo at the 5th fret it turns into open A, which is what we have on our Ukulele.
This tutorial is going to be 3 different 12 bar blues circles. The very first one is extremely basic, just a simple a 12 bar strummer loop. The next two we are going to look at more advanced rhythm techniques with fills, arpeggios, and all other kind of things. Each one is broken down 4 bars at a time with a play-along at the end. I would also like you to take the time to explore the fretboard and this tuning so you can get your own 12 bar done as well.
If you are looking for a 12 bar solo let me know, we can also get crazy with a full blown solo as this is mostly rhythm ideas
