Today we are going to examine how to make your own backing track for any style of music. This is great because it really sends your practice routine into over drive, giving you a foundation to practice rhythm, fingerpicking, soloing, phrasing, call and response, resolution, literally any aspect of playing you can practice using these techniques. The only two genres that need a little more work are Jazz and Blues as they follow a specific chord progression that is premeditated, this is more free for you to create and develop your own progressions. Not limited to just ukuleles you can even use your backing track to practice singing your scales and your vocal exercises too!
