Today we are going to learn how to play Buddy Holly by Weezer. This is off The Blue Album which was originally my favorite, I later gravitated towards Pinkerton but I think I have gone back to this as my all time favorite Weezer album. The song is played with power chords with heavy distortion all strummed down, so we had to modify the rhythm slightly to give the Ukulele more of a personality in the song, we also had to eliminate one or two passing chords. The tutorial is taught in standard A, but they play their guitars tuned down a half step, so yo would have to tune your Ukulele down a half step to match the recording.

Will improve

Rock strum
Moveable chord shapes
Melodic Soloing
Quick chord changes
E Chord
