Hi,

Today I have for you a video on which I'm presenting step-by-step how I created all those glowing runes on Magnus' weapon. I think that this video combined with my pdfs should present to you in a clear way how I achieved this interesting effect.

I hope you enjoy this tutorial.

Awesome video! I finally realized where I was going wrong with OSL I was not adding enough white paint during the subsequent layers and I always finished closer to white which made the effect lackluster.

Could you tell me what size brush that is? Is it a 'miniature' brush rather than a more normal long haired brush? Thanks.

It's size 1 from regular size Winsor & Newton series . I tried to use miniature series and I prefer regular version of this brush.

hello my friend. I just wanted to thank you for a great patreon- i could not find a way to send it as a pm, so here is a good a place as any! With so many miniature painting patreons out there, it is nice to see someone who is dedicated to their supporters- with regular content and taking time to answer questions. Keep up the great work. You patreon has been recommended by myself to my online painting group "Alberta miniature painters society of Alberta". Hopefully one day, we can meet and I can buy you a beer sponsored by the club! :)

Wow! Thank You very much for your kind words. Thanks to support of my patrons I can finally for the first time in my live work on maximum of my skill, and don't be scared about this how will I pay rent in the next month. For that I'm super grateful to all my supporters and I'm trying to make all of you feel that. Another way of saying "Thank You" is making enough tutorials to keep you all interested and trying to make quality of them better and better. This week I will finally have for you a video tutorial recorded with a new camera which I'm going to buy tomorrow. I hope that quality will be much better then it is right now and you will enjoy it. Ps. I'm going to visit Crystal Brush in I guess 2019 or 2020 so that would be a great occasion to have a bear ;)
