Hello,

today I have for you a new video on which I presented and explained how I painted right side of the eagle on Valoris' cloak. Thanks to this video you should learn how to paint freehands (I'm not sure how else it can be called in this situation when the shape of the eagle was already there) in a way that creates structure of the material as well. I hope you will enjoy this video and it will be useful for you.

Ps. I'm sorry for the lack of energy in my voice but for over a week now my father is fighting for his life in a hospital and this is very hard time for me to record a videos.  I tried my best.

Regards

I definitely appreciate you putting a video out which are amazing. However, some things are more important like your fathers health and I hope everything will be ok. I hope you are holding up ok too.

Hello, thank you again for your video. I agree with the previous post. Take time to take care of your family the rest is not so important..good courage

Your videos and guides are great. But family is family and the most important . I hope everything will be ok.

Great as always though maybe it´s just me who has the wrong view of freehand, but to me free hand would be if you painted some pattern on it that wasn´´ t already there. The eagle seems to already have been molded into the cape from the start, so i´t´s not freehand in my book. But again that just might be me and it´s a great video as always.

Do you realy paint everything with vallejo black after priming? If so why?

I'm making small layer of black paint with primmer because for some reason these new citadel sprays are making horrible things to miniatures, they create structure on the surface etc. Then I paint it with Vallejo for better covering and because its more glossy.

what is that piece of paper on which you lay the paint?

Its a baking paper. I tried many brands and they all work the same, so if you want to use it as well, don't worry about the price or its brand :)

Sorry one more question regarding this topic. So you airbrush the model with VMC Black without priming?
