What kind of paper you use on your wet pallet?

A guy at my local store always beats me in painting comps with his smooth airbrush transitions with this tutorial I feel like I will be able to compete with him now

Thanks for the email notice on this - I lose track and forget to check

I appreciate the emphasis here on brush technique and maintaining a pointed tip.

Great timing here - I am struggling to highlight black highlights on an engine and can use your strategy here. Very helpful.

Could you make maybe a video on some more basic techniques I just got back into the hobby a couple of years ago and have never attempted NMM or some of the crazy techniques you use. Some more basic videos would be great, or can anyone recommend any other painters on Patreon that have more basic tutorials

Spit5ire

Sorry to flood the messages but I think I struggle the most with where to put the reflections and shadows a video on that would be really great

Hello, great content (greatest?), just one quick question: how much moisture do you leave in your brush after cleaning it and before collecting paint? thank you!

Check out my newest tutorial, In the first step I explained there how I make my reference photos that help me with placing shadows and reflections in the right places.

I will make a video tutorial like this one about the Glaze Technique, but if you are looking for a tutorial about something easier then I'm afraid I can't help you, but you can find plenty of video tutorials about painting in a simpler way on YouTube. I guess Ninjon has some tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/@Ninjon/videos

The gradient of the line feels a little difficult, and it is difficult to control the distance between the pen dust and the model.

I am struggling a bit with creating smooth transitions between colours so I wanted to ask. Let's say I want to blend two layers, one layer is London Grey and the other is Black grey and there is a clear line where the two colours meet. To create the smooth colour transition from London Grey to Black Grey, would you create a mixture of the two (50% London Grey and 50% Black Grey) and use that to cover the area where the two colours meet? Thx :)
