JKR is a disgusting person and transphobe, HP is also full of her and bigotry upon closer inspection. The whole trend itself is also tainted by far right and incel types using it to attack us for whatever reason, it’s just awful all around.

Unfortunately JKR is pretty terrible person, with her transphobic views and ways being directly funded by Harry Potter, which intersectionally also influences heavy restrictions on how people can express themselves in how they look, rather than freely doing so. Any cultural reference she gets is still a feed into her controlling natures and her hatred against women in general, with her wanting them to appear in a neat little box rather than be free
