Hello people! I posted the Official Trailer of Season 2 on Discord, but many people don't have Discord so I'm also publishing it today!

I'm posting it on Twitter because it's a platform that allows X content 😅 here is the link, I hope you like it!

I'm waiting for Steam to approve the store page and then the game, I will keep everyone informed!

The size of S2E1 is 2GB.

Have a great weekend! 👋

When Steam approves both the store page and the game will you still do a 7 day countdown or will it be a shadow drop? All this wait is torture :(

marcialart

Hehe, hey Ricky! 👋 As soon as I can launch it, I will launch it following the Steam procedures. 🚀

Yang

Can I understand that everything is ready and waiting for Steam's review before going online? I don't know how long it will take

marcialart

Hello Yang! 👋 I don't know exactly. The process with them is that they have to approve the store page of the game, and also the game. In case they don't approve any of those, they tell me why, and I've to make changes. But I did the same that I did with Season 1, so I don't see any reason they won't allow it. 🙂

Question for you. Since we are paying monthly why can't it be released here first and then Steam? No disrespect intended I'm just curious about this...

tokyoghoul671

Ok, I can understand that. Is the steam game going to be the same as the version released here?

marcialart

Only little modifications TokyoGhoul (to follow Steam policies) for example. Steam doesn't allow mention of other platforms like Patreon and Subscribestar, so in the menu or the phone, they will not appear. Only things like that to follow their rules, but the main content of the game is the same. 😉

TPB

I certainly respect your decision to release games simultaneously here and with Steam. Personally, I have supported Patreon because the game isnt available elsewhere and/or because of early releases. Now it seems Patreon supporters are held hostage with this release by Steam's approval process. A bit disappointing.

Declan Tracey

So it's kinda pointless supporting really now we have to wait for steam users when we've all been patreons supporting you and we don't get early access I have the right to cancel

Simon

Hi Marcial I have just been trying that link to see the new trailer, but it goes to something with x.com and then says " Hmm... this page doesn’t exist. Try searching for something else." also at bottom is something asking to log in ? what cant you just post the trailer here ??

Brassmoustach

Yeah it does say on all Tiers of access above £4.50 that you have "Early access to content" by releasing it on other platforms at the same time it makes this point a lie as we have no more earlier access than other platform uses that haven't been supporting the game, really disappointing to be treated this way so cancelling until early access is reinstated. Actually just looked again and it says "Access to the Latest Version 1 Week before the Official Launch" on the £11.50 + tiers...

tokyoghoul671

Ok, let me get this straight. The only difference between the Steam version and the version on here is that you can't mention Patreon and Subscribstar but the rest of the content is the same correct?

marcialart

That's correct, but take one thing into consideration TG. In the hypothetical case that Steam doesn't allow a scene in the game, that scene will be removed, but only from the Steam release, and it will remain on the Patreon version. Certain things are not under my control until they approve the game.

marcialart

Hey Simon! 👋 Yes, X is Twitter (Elon Twitter 😝) since the trailer can contain +18 images it's possible that if you are not logged in, then it will not show to you. I can't post the trailer here due to the same reason (I have to upload to YouTube to then post a link here, but YouTube will not allow me, or maybe they will ban me if I do that 😝) Thanks to your comment I decided to upload to Dropbox too (The 60fps version 🤩, which is much better quality than Twitter(X), here is the link: Season 2 Trailer - Dropbox Download: https://www.dropbox.com/t/Mff2c2DC5w93UtLg I will share this link with everyone in today's post, thanks Simon! 🍺

Simon

Thank for your reply, i managed to sort out and log on to see the trailer.

tokyoghoul671

Interesting.... I re-read your wall of text again and looking at both perspectives I can understand why you came to that decision but from my perspective it seems like we, your supporters here on Patreon are getting punished due to the Steam community. If they want your content so bad they should join this community like us. Until then they should wait for it to come out on Steam. Also, regarding the piracy of the game. It will happen eventually regardless if you post it here or on any other platform besides Steam because of some bad apples in the group. I don't know... Just my two cents....

Simon

I have seen a lot of you on here are disappointed about having to wait for this new season due to having to release it on steam also, and your not happy that your not getting it first " Guys it my understanding how i read what is said is as its first one on steam has to be approved and cant be out anywhere else before that, so its a one off thing is my understanding, once the game is approved on steam he can then release as normally did before with early access to higher tiers. give MarcialART this one and if it dont change then i would understand what your all going on about. its ONE time guys

Brassmoustach

Yep that's very fair, am hoping that's what it is.

David

I'm going to tell you all right now. I support this project here not because I want to 'get it first', but because I want to help support the developer achieve their goal of making the game the best it can be. I'm fine waiting on Steam. I love this game. I'll support it throughout however many seasons Marciaarts makes.

marcialart

Thanks a lot, David, your comment is much appreciated!!! 🍻
