Hello people! 👋 Most of the information today will be on the pics.

You will be able to see how will be the beginning of season 2, mainly there will be 2 ways to start, a quick way (answering a single question) or a detailed questionnaire of 19 questions, in which you can select all the most important decisions of season 1. (My recommendation will be the detailed questionnaire, as it is accompanied with images of each of the events to remember them).

And in the last picture, what will happen? Will she swallow the pill or not? 💊😲

One thing I really appreciate about the questionaire: Pics do help a lot to remember. It is not very good that the old savede woun't work, but this helps a lot. Well done!

Thanks, Dennis! Season 2 code is developed from scratch, and that gives me the opportunity to keep improving things, but yes, the old saves won't be necessary. 🙂

Hello Jacko! Season 2 will be a "separate game", but it continues the story at the point at which Season 1 ends, the questionnaire is for everyone to start at the exact same point where Season 1 ended. (This way, I can keep the size of the game smaller and at the same time improve things) 😉

I don't want to make you any more work, so feel free to decline the following option. But it would be rather simple (still needing some hours of work) to export the old game setting into a text file or something and import them into the new game. So the questionaire woul not be neccessary (but still remain a good starting too for new playthrought that want to skip the first season). You can edit a text-file in renpy with the file concept. Ok, thanks for the idea Dennis! 🤩 I will check it out, but I also love to do it like a TV series, you know, when they say "Previously on..." and then show images of what happened before. 😁

Oh yeah, this ist a very good additional usage of your feature. I always have problems remembering what I did... especially if I have sereral saves with different playing styles (decent, lewd, ...). Maybe you could pre-select the choices for players that imported their old stats. This would make it a real "Previously on... this were your choices:" This, maybe even chapter-wise (no export-import needed with later seasons) would be something In never saw in any other VN out there. But don"t feel pressured here, just suggesting. If it takes up too much time...drop it.
