So Darkman is an original story written by Raimi, but there have been comics made after the films. There is even a crossover comic that pairs darkman against army of darkness. The two sequel movies were direct to video with Westlake played by the guy who played the mummy in the Brendan Fraser The Mummy movies. Neither films were directed by Sam Raimi. They are smaller budget, but I do like them. The next movie is Darkman II: The Return of Durant. Yes, he somehow survived that very lethal helicopter crash. The third movie is Darkman III: Die Darkman Die and there is no Durant in that one haha. Glad to see I found Mrs. Movie's favorite Sam Raimi film >.< Also good job spotting the car. The Bruce Campbell cameo happened because Sam initially wanted him to play Darkman but the studio said he wasn't well known enough to draw in an audience. This was just a funny way to get Bruce Campbell to be Darkman despite the initial rejection.

Is that the guy from Swamp Thing, the chubby Bruce Willis? And the guy from The Mask (1994), the one with the long hair? And... *I Know* that's the guy from John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness. The guy from the beginning with the fingers. Also: Danny Elfman also did the score for Dick Tracy with Warren Beatty. Which would make a good Double Feature with this movie. It was a lot more dark and creepy than I thought it would be. Also, Madonna proves she can be quite wicked with the right role.
