Welp, that's the end of content in my old home. First of all, brilliant game, definitely recommend it. Such a lovely way to tell a story and it was fun too. A heads up - there will now be a big dry patch or some oddly made videos here and there until I work out how to make videos in the new space. Lots of trial and error up ahead. Gonna do my best to get the best possible situation for Silksong haha. We will have to talk about that later, I genuinely don't know if I should play it on release or wait for a few months to go by. Things are tough right now! Thank you for the lovely supportive thread of messages in the discord server. I feel quite alone in this life stage atm so having a community of supportive people is wonderful. Thank you endlessly.

I commend your discipline if you manage to hold off on playing Silksong for MONTHS lol, I don't mind either way though, whenever you're ready. Not sure it's soon anyway.

ChilledGricken

take every second of time you need!! we'll be here on the other end of it! wishing you the best!!

Trolez

I hope you will get settled well in the new place, and take all the time you need! As for Silksong, I know I will be jumping on that immediately, both because I'm excited for the game itself, but also to be prepared for the Symbalily playthrough!

Juan

LMAO that thumbnail 😂

Amythistfire

Omg now you get to do it for real 😂😂 Sending love from America!

Capt Doug

All the best on the move Amber! Hope everything goes as smoothly as possible. The beginning of a new era! Take all the time you need to get settled and comfortable and I don’t know if I’m more excited to play Silksong or watch your play through of it! So regardless when you decide to play I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say I’m thoroughly looking forward to it!

Moving is so draining. Each time I've moved, I start out thinking "this will be the time I streamline it...perfect it." But by the end, I'm always overwhelmed by how much stuff I forgot I had, and I'm just throwing random crap into boxes labeled "misc." Fuggit. I'll just figure it out when I get there. Every time. I keep hearing about this game, but never played it. Can't wait to watch! Hope you're able to get adjusted and comfortable in the new space soon so you can have some rest. Impressive that you squeezed in 3 complete playthrough videos in the midst of your move!

W. W. Wiklund

I've not been able to keep up with your videos for a while now, but I am definitely going to watch this immediately. It's such a sweet game. Please do take all the time you need and don't stress out too much. <3 I know that's not really the most helpful thing in the world to say, but you're a wonderful person and creator and there are a bunch of us who will always come back to your stuff even if you end up putting stuff out more slowly or your setup is a little wonky for a while. You're amazing!

Rogue Variable

Perfectly appropriate, hope you settle in well.

I never get tired of watching people's dawning realization as they progress through the Boyfriend's stage, culminating in that one last item... this game has such impressive storytelling. Best of luck with your move!! Take all the time you need to recombobulate yourself :)

Alexander McClelland

I feel like with the way your releases are set up, playing Silksong at release would probably be fine - there might be people who avoid watching LPs close to release because of spoilers, but since the videos wouldn't become public until much later there's enough lag time there that most of the people who are interested in playing will probably have already played at that point.

This is such an interesting game and does a great job of showcasing what it's like to start again. I'm almost 9 months into the 2013 level irl and have made a very conscious decision this time to make a space I can grow into rather than carrying my old life around with me. Would recommend. It will be a sad and stressful time now, but there is a whole future out there that you can live on your terms. Here's hoping your next move is under much happier circumstances! Also, keep the box thumbnail for if you ever play an MGS game on the channel!

prince sidon

Currently moving to be on my own for the first time in my life so I'm very appreciative of the timing of this video 😅

Rogue Variable

We’ve all learned all we need to know.

Rogue Variable

Hope the moving goes well, always a big life event, but sometimes be cathartic

Rogue Variable

Love this game, what a amazing way to tell a story

2026-09-14 07:00 This is such a great concept for a game. Growing up, my family moved a lot. Most of my belongings would follow, so that each place could feel like home. But there were yard sales and goodbyes also. And later roommates, and relationships...and the merging of personal spaces. Life upgrades. Downgrades. Re-upgrades. And yet, I still have the hand-painted piggy bank I was given when I was just a wee turd. Very cool how this game managed to depict that, while allowing you to fill in the blanks and piece things together yourself. Brilliant environmental storytelling! Loved this playthrough. And the intro/outro heheh. Sucks to leave a place you love, and feel like you're regressing. You aren't. When you hit reset, you're starting fresh, but with a lot of gained perspective that you didn't have the first go round. When we unpack our stuff, maybe it's best to keep the meaningful and motivating things within sight and reach, and give that past baggage the Marie Kondo treatment. I hope you one day find a space where you can spread out, and feel fully yourself...and maybe even share it with someone who loves you for it.

You got this Amber! I know just taking a step back and reassessing can help get things figured out!
