Omg I can’t believe you’ve done path of pain I’m so sorry you suffered but I’m so excited 😆

symbalily

Ahhh enjoy! I go crazy as the episode progresses, it was very difficult and just broke me lmao

James Saenz

I absolutely relate lol I made a super cut of me dying in the last room and slowly descending into madness the first time I played through it

Jurjen Stellingwerff

Congratulations on your birthday, even if it was a bit longer ago.

Trolez

Oh, I did not expect you to attempt this 😲 Can't wait to watch this!

Andy

Path of Pain, oh dear 😂😂 looking forward to watching this later, for me this entire section was a gradual descent into actual insanity 🙃 Edit: holy heck that control pad you bought is BEAUTIFUL, great way to cheer yourself up!!

Dorkenmore

Glad you are back and I truly hope that your life stops being its own path of pain! All the best wishes!

ChilledGricken

huge congrats on beating it!! also, hope that your life calms down and you're able to start feeling better soon in the meantime, take as much time as you need!

Richard Pates

Hope you feel better soon. Keep having fun please!

Evan Heywood

*Edit* This is long but it's for you, Amber. (Obviously 😜) Ohhh, dear sweet Amber. I can't give any worthwhile advice on Hollow Knight, especially to a Jedi master such as yourself but as to life, well, I have a couple morsels to share. To begin (the two words that proceed all lengthy text 🙃😇) I just wanted to say that you have already made my day. Truly! I didn't want to get out of bed today but forces outside my control decided otherwise and then I got a notification.. "The incredible, gorgeous Symba Lily a.k.a. Amber has graced planet earth once again with her silliness and magnificence!" Ok so that wasn't the title, obviously, but that's what my mind saw. Ha ha. I will try to keep this shorter than it could be.. Firstly, my condolences to your pain but also I congratulate you on the opportunity you've been given to grow (that being the pain). I have been suffering depression most my life and these past few years have been crippling; at times it has been a literal thing. I used to cry daily till my nose would bleed and I my head was pounding. It happened so often I stopped fighting it. I'll avoid details but I've fought through suicidal thoughts and sleepless nights, losing all my friends and even my 8 year love of my life (which ended in lies, deceit and betrayal on her part). I almost ended up homeless... Long story short, I now have a place to sleep, food to eat, people that care about me. I have a really good job that pays well and allows me to be outside and meet new people. Even though I have social anxiety to the point that grocery shopping can be stressful, I'm excited for this opportunity. My point is that after years of dark, hopeless wandering and not even remembering what it felt like to be happy, I'm beginning to see light again and hope. I doubt your as bad off but I wanted to paint somewhat of a picture so you know I know what I'm saying. Your videos have helped me A LOT through the last 5 or 6 months of that darkness and misery. In some ways and even some times, you have (in your own way) actually saved my life, my sanity if nothing else. So thank you. You truly are beautiful and yes on the outside but even though we've never met, I know you're an incredible person. I've studied a lot about.. well, things. (Trying to keep it short and in failing 😬) but basically I'm not just saying things to make you feel better. I'm being honest. You're hilarious. You're clearly very sweet and empathetic and you're seriously talented. You are incredible but I think you already know that. Even if you don't realize it fully yet. Thank you for being so amazing and sharing it with all of us. It personally means a lot to me. Can't wait to finish this episode! 🙃😜🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Andy

Kind words man, take care of yourself.

Evan Heywood

I have been. I'm doing much better. I just know that sometimes it seems impossible to just "push through it" and especially "smiling through the pain." Sometimes you just have to feel it and let yourself hurt. Emotionally and mentally I was a very different person 5 months ago, or rather in a very different state of mind, even two weeks ago but finding reasons to laugh and smile once in a while got me through to where I am now. Here I am rambling on again ha ha

A belated Happy Birthday! 🥳 I hope things get better and happier for you soon! I also love the controller, such a pretty blue! But you shouldn't worry about putting affiliate links or sponsors in your videos, it's a big part of youtube, you have absolutely no reason to feel awkward or apologise for that!

Linktothefuture

A belated Happy Birthday to you! edit: Also "I miss Deepnest" had me ROFL. Only those that have followed your full HK journey can truly appreciate that.

Culade

You deserve to break inside a little after that madness. Good job though, both in completing the path of pain and maintaining your sanity. Hope you find your chill game. I'd suggest Stray though it is short but worth a play. Or NiER Replicant since you enjoyed NiER Automata

CellblockD_25

AMBER...You mad man! LOLOL "Are you JOKING? Don't you even dare...DON'T YOU EVEN DARE!!!" (absolutely my favorite part of the video) I was hoping you wouldn't find out about this section...just for the sake of your mental health. You sweet, sweet angel. But, alas, you are a rock star. To this day, and that includes 3 playthroughs of 106%, I have yet to finish the Path of Pain. I am so impressed and happy for your success. I think it is going to push me to give it another shot. I am going to miss this series when it ends. But I hope and pray you will give Silksong a dedicated series on your channel whenever it drops. I have been looking for a nice solid option for PS5 back paddles. I was hoping PS would release their official version for a more financially wise option. But Hexgaming may be the best route to take at this point. Oh, and of course, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Evan Heywood

You're so sad in this video and it makes my heart ache. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the video but still, I wanted to reach through the screen and give you a hug. So ... Here 🤗(that's apparently supposed to be a hug, I guess). I hope you're feeling better! You're amazing! 😬🙃😇🧡🧡

Daniel

I have always avoided the Path of Pain. You are not only a brilliant player, but one of the bravest I have seen.

TonyBadP5

Hi Amber! Just wanted to say hi as a new member of the community. Your platforming skills are great; also mostly your determination in that is what pushed me to subscribe in here. I love Hollow Knight but have never even tried the Path of Pain: I suffered so much just in the main part of the White Palace already. Sorry to hear that life sucks for you right now. I am sending my warmest virtual hugs if I may. Take care! PS: nothing wrong with affiliate links, plus it was smoothly integrated in there and relevant to gaming...

Daniel

Mad props to you Amber for taking on this challenge and completing it! I've obtained 112% completion for this game, but as far as I know The Path of Pain is the only obstacle left for me to complete. I've tried, but found it too difficult. However, your perseverance has given me the motivation to give it another go. Congrats! You are a pogo master! If you can complete the Path of Pain, there is nothing you cannot do in this game if you put your mind to it. I look forward to what you decide to with the Grimm quest!
