Outer Wilds continues with Part 3!

Spoilers for the video ahead:

The moon is so cool, I really hope I can find a way to get on it.

I think for next time my plan is to check out the broken cannon orbiting Giant's Deep, someone is using it at the start of the loop and I re-noticed while editing that it goes in different directions in some loops! I am thinking that there may be ANOTHER person who is stuck in a loop and is trying different directions too, perhaps? Just thinking outloud here. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this one!

General Update

I swear I am having the worst luck with uploads lately, right now I am really struggling to get any HOTD episodes up, they are just blocked immediately. Which is 100% fair enough, but I just have no idea how so many other channels are getting away with it hahaha, so fast too! The only solution I can find for myself is to make it very quiet but then I worry that people cant hear!

Will keep you posted on that.

Regarding the HOTD stuff, can you pitch shift the background audio? It may work just altering the frequency a bit

Trolez

Oh, I am so ready for some more Outer Wilds! I even bought a bag of marshmallows to enjoy with the episode 😋 Just need to find a way to sneak out of work now 🤔

Hahaha, I always think to myself that I need to get some marshmallows when I'm playing Outer Wilds! I'm always burning them in game though.

I think the biggest factor for HBO copyright claims is how long a scene goes on for, consecutively. So you might want to try cutting clips longer than 8-10 seconds or hide the clip for 2 seconds as the audio continues. And scenes with loud soundtracks also triggers copyright real quick, so you might want to lower the volume for those.

The Mighty Pipe

You have no idea how much I've been anticipating a new Outer Wilds video.

It's worth a go... It used to work back in the day but I'm sure youtube's AI has become more sophisticated at picking stuff like this up nowadays. Surely the other people who are uploading this content don't do anything much more elaborate though?!

symbalily

All fab tips thank you! I'm definitely going back to re-edit a bunch tonight with these in mind

Pre

I found your channel because of your Outer Wilds playthrough, and I've since binged your entire Hollow Knight playthrough despite never playing Hollow Knight. I'm subscribing to you off the back of that and looking forward to more Outer Wilds.

Menace1-5

Great work! Hey Amber have you tried using a wider FOV for this game? It really helps you spot stuff in the peripheral that might otherwise go unnoticed.

SlyFox

It was pretty hilarious seeing how often you searched for the moon while staring right at it. You probably noticed in editing. Also, did you edit out a bunch of the ship log? Exploring the log is half of the fun 😋

Flukemarm

There's a hard to notice "roll" control on the ship where you hold the bumper and move an analog stick, it's confusing at first but pretty necessary for weird zero G landings.
