Also, I don't know if you're still taking recommendations, but Chicory: A Colourful Tale is a game that seems right up your alley in a lot of ways. It's definitely longer than A Short Hike, but similarly delightful and full of surprises!

Love the added content at the end. I think you should play what you want to play. These short playthrough videos have been amazing to watch. What a beautiful game to play before Mother's Day (In Canada at least). A perfect way to say thank you to all mother's, no matter where they are.
