Hey everyone! Part 11 is up! Thank you for watching and commenting on these, I loved the Painted World, and this next area was completely nuts haha. Hoping to do another stream soon. If I am honest, I am leaning on taking another break from YouTube uploads when Dark Souls is done, I am feeling really burnt out from recording and editing and I feel like I am in a bit of a pickle. I hope that the YouTube streams do okay and I can just take a few weeks to have a more relaxed gaming channel and not have to worry about editing for a bit. I will chat more openly and honestly about it in the next private stream we do! Will let you know when I can arrange a good time to do it.

if you feel that you need another break than that is what you need and that's ok! you've been working so hard between the massive zelda vids on top of dark souls so it's completely understandable. would love to see more streams if you're up for it and want a more chill time, excited to watch this when i get home!

You do you, Amber. Everyone needs to be able to decompress. I love the idea of more streams, so if you're down, I'm down.

Thank you, the evening is saved!

This is exactly what I needed to brighten an otherwise stressful day, thank you!!

So first of all: Don't burn yourself out. I think just a nice, calming stream here and there is more than enough content to tide us over, and that just takes the whole "editting" thing out of the equation. Patches getting killed by that giant skeleton cracked me up. Don't worry, the man deserves it :) The bigger skeletons in the Tomb of the Giants aren't terribly strong, the biggest issue is that the Silver Knight Spear does predominantly pierce damage; the skeletons are strong against pierce, so it was good you switched to the Black Knight Sword later :D. They didn't resurrect because there wasn't a necromancer nearby (the fire throwing brown robe dudes). Still very glad you used the spear in the catacombs though! Keeping the skeletons dead permanently without first killing the necromancers there is a major boon. Quite easy to get overwhelmed by the small bastards otherwise haha. Those skeleton dogs though? They're freaking insane. Basically the highest damage dealing enemies in the game. I really feel like they made a small mistake with that thing haha. Congratulations on the first Lord Soul! 3 more to go :) Another GREAT episode. You may have not explored the entirety of the Catacombs, but you got through what you did explore pretty quick (and painlessly?)! (and you went back and explored most of it later anyway, but don't forget that one wall you broke but didn't enter ;) ) Well, on to the next episode we go!

Two DS videos nearly back-to-back? :-o (I really liked your sound effect fun last video, lol) I sent you a message earlier about using Voicemeeter for your mic input to help solve your "silent screams" problem but just thought to look into it via Streamlabs. You use that, don't you? Or OBS? If Streamlabs, all the fun settings I mentioned are in there already. A compressor to keep your startled screams audible but never allow the volume past a certain level, and an expander to silence any sounds below a certain level; Walton making chewing noises, fans, rain, etc. I actually can't think of what setting cuts out your mic above a certain dB level. I've not heard of that before. Usually you'd just use the compressor or limiter so you don't loose audio. Anyhoo, if you fancy a play around, maybe that would be a good thing to do on the next private stream and we could give you feedback in realtime. https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-improve-mic-quality-in-streamlabs-desktop

Aww I’d love another live stream! Whatever works for you ^^

Great episode, I always enjoy seeing Patches get his just desserts! Please do take a break if you think you need it. If you've been under the weather anyway then the last thing you need is YouTube adding to your worries. Doing another stream sounds like a great idea though!
