Thanks for the new video. Yeah, Patreon video is worse for me as I usually watch your videos on my telly through my PlayStation and I can't do that through Patreon.

ChilledGricken

i think the achievement is a reference to luis calling him the "big cheese" in the original lmao also, the patreon video player doesn't link to the youtube video unfortunately, it also doesn't remember your spot if you leave and come back. looking forward to watching this tho! i'm loving this series so far!!

Jordan McLaren

Speaking just for myself, I find the Patreon video player very lacking. It's often quite choppy and slow, and it can be a pain to continue from where I left off if I have to split a video into multiple sittings; I personally find the YouTube version much more watchable and suited to the way I watch stuff. Just my two cents :) I can't wait to watch you continue!

Enguerrand Leclerc

Yeah! I was waiting for the next part. Always nice to see your reaction to some of the fun BS theses games throw at the player. :D As i said under the other video, the player is fine but there's no auto-resume (or it's not working for me ??) which is pretty useful for any video of a non-trivial duration, as i usually can't watch in one go Cheers, thanks for all the good content !

Mark

Oh yes this is perfect timing! I'm stuck in bed recovering from the worst stomach bug I've ever had. Thank you! I watch on my phone and the patreon video doesn't like being played full screen, and like others have said it doesn't track were you left off. So unfortunately its a bit rubbish, But anyway let's go!

Edd

Ohhhh yeah baby! I was waiting for this upload! I keep hoping we might get RE7,8 or even 1 this year but still it has been a blast so far. Thank you for the uploads. (Seriously I was refreshing like 4 times x day!)

Edd

In regards to the player, I don't mind it on Patreon since I watch on PC but maybe it's different for others.

Marc Werner

I watch on TV via YT. But I could wait a few days, till it's on everyone's YT. But I don't want to... Waiting for your videos ist terrible!

Edd

Oh wow! Thanks, I was not aware of this at all. I may have missed it when she played RE2, it sounded like she was completely new to the series. Shame about 8, I would have loved to watch that. How did she like Ethan?

Edd

Oh they are unlisted... that's why I could never find them. I even remember searching her Youtube channel for resident evil games but couldn't find any! *Zero clips left on her twitch as well. Darn. I would have really liked to see her opinion on the RE8 intro with the Caroline style animation.

The Mighty Pipe

Sadly, I've never got to see it either. It was before my time. And it sucks because 8 is overflowing with amazing moments and characters that I'd love to have seen her experience. It's why, if she ever decides to steam again, I hope she does it on YouTube rather than Twitch because YouTube will save the videos for her. She also streamed some Witcher 3 a while back, and I'm still pissed off about them being gone (not her fault) because those streams had some of my all-time favourite Symbalily moments in them.

silybun

I personally preferred youtube because this player dosen't allow me to choose video quality. Sometimes the video get's blurry and I can't change it.

Lot_TheKing

It's easy enough to watch through patreon and to make sure you get the views on the regular YT videos I let those run when I go to work.

Edd

Yeah, it would have been great to see what she thought about it. I quite liked Ethan but I know he wasn't a favorite for many. I want to play TW3, I've only heard great things about it.

Edd

I find it so interesting that the terms "tight" and "loose" are now thought of in such context. It's not the first woman I've seen who has made this specific comment when it comes to this game. Apparently it's become a thing, even cross nationally but I don't know why.

The Mighty Pipe

She made this post with almost all of her unlisted content if you want to check them out. https://www.patreon.com/posts/games-removed-89181154 It's not everything. There are a couple episodes of RDR2 missing, and the first two episodes of Mario Sunshine are unlisted for some reason. The Plague Tale and Neir Automata series are really great. You can see her getting more and more comfortable being on camera with every episode, it's very endearing. Highly recommend Witcher 3, it's my favourite game ever. She's been talking about playing the DLCs for a long time, and I hope we get to see that eventually. Edit: Sorry, I misremembered. It's a few episodes of God of War Ragnarok that are missing, not RDR2. Also, the What Remains of Edith Finch videos have some technical problems, but they're a really great watch too. Amber's very sweet in them.

J. P.

Was a really fun episode, with a very fresh change of pace now that Leon had someone else to protect. I think my favorite moment was during the Ada & Luis cutscene when you just went "I am right here." when they were speaking about the "Amber" Luis had hidden, at 52:20. Was a perfectly timed joke, that came out of nowhere and I loved it. Also the patreon video-player works perfectly fine as a substitute. I suspect most people prefer youtube just because familiarity and such, but for me at least, it doesn't matter which video-player is used.

Mark

Cheers, mate. Yesterday was hell but I think I'm on the mend now.

Edd

I personally go Power and Capacity first when it comes to weapons. Power because it increases the value per bullet and also survivability. Capacity because it technically increases carry space since the guns can hold more ammo. Doing great though, you are getting all the loot!

Trolez

I was just sitting at work quietly thinking to myself "I bet a new Symbalily video is gonna drop today". I got a notification mere seconds later! And now I'm finally home to watch!

Stray Goat

Seriously high energy today! My favorite part was when you stopped to admire the wickerwork after shoving Ashley into a locker.

Jordan Williams

Ashley while hiding in a locker: "I wonder if Leon's safe out there" Leon: Wow this wicker work is amazing!

LunaHuntress

Like others have said I watch your videos on a TV which I can’t do through patreon so I’ll have to wait for YouTube, excited to watch though! :)

b0n3man

Yeah, well done on beating Mendez! The Grilled Big Cheese reference is because of the OG game where Luis refers to him as the "Big cheese" of the village. Let's see how you handle the castle next! The Patreon player works fine as well. YT player is a bit more consistent, but i wouldn't mind if all videos go through this player personally.

mattbrush3pwood

Ashley: 'What's wrong with these people?!' Amber: 'They're Spanish, ma'am.' Sure it's not the plaga, or the torches and pitchforks? 😂

Austin

Great one. Patreon vids are a bit tougher to watch, but not a big deal. Tip - try shooting them in the knees specifically, puts them into the melee state much quicker than body shots. Good for crowd control since you can kick multiple of them at once

Myles Mikulic

Asset commentary/appreciation is low-key my favorite part of these videos.

Adam

Hey Amber, really enjoying RE content, but the Dredge DLC comes out tomorrow! will you be picking it up and playing?

Chris DePrisco

You got a ton of YT comments so I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet, but: No, you don't catch a cold from being in the cold/rain. The common cold is a rhinovirus and being in child weather tends to get people huddled indoors making it easier to spread. Being cold weakens your immune system a tad so that doesn't help, either. Oh yeah, and I liked the video, too! 😁
