Well everyone. No Silksong news. The "small indie team from Australia" felt so deliberate haha it really convinced me something was coming later on but no. But I was excited about this. What did you think of this? And of the show?I don't think I like these shows very much. Idk, it felt weird to not address all the layoffs and I hated every time the get off the stage music played but we had time for a muppet lol. I'm seriously so sorry that I still haven't uploaded DS2 this week, I am going to work my ass off tonight to try to get it out asap. Only excuse is that I am SO tired haha. Excited to upload the next RE4 video, it was HORRIFYING hahahaha, loved it. But I miss you all! See ya soon!

Billy Bennett

I know EXACTLY what you’re referring to. The remake did such a GREAT job with the regeneradores

Trolez

The game awards definitely feel very commercial and a lot of the games there are not really the kind of vibe I'm into these days. Still fairly entertaining other than the whole no Silksong aspect. Looking forward to more RE4 and DS2. You have inspired me to dive into the Dark Souls series myself, so I'm currently trying to tackle Dark Souls 3 with a sorcerer build in preparation for the inevitable Symbalily series. I have discovered a concerning tendency, though. When I'm in charge of the controller the poor player character tends to die a lot!

Trolez

And we got a sneak peek at the new tattoo! It looks like my Bloodborne/A Short Hike crossover prediction was incorrect :D

symbalily

Hahahaha I would love to see artists do a draw this in your style of that crossover I really would!

J. P.

All of us waiting for Silksong, Amber, we have lots and lots of patience, do not worry about feeling guilty regarding frequency of video uploads. As a fellow Dinosaur aficionado, this looks really promising and I hope to see your channel alive and well, by the time it released - even if you promised a revival !

G. Gringle

"I wanna see gameplay!" Hahaha...nice

ChilledGricken

the show was alright but i do agree that they should've mentioned layoffs and such, i understand that geoff has relationships to maintain but still, would've been the right thing to do. i think my highlight of the show was christopher judging going after activision lmao, i love him so much try not to destroy yourself getting a video out lmao, looking forward to it when it comes!

resonatrium

I wish they had spaced the game trailers out a bit more and gave more time for speeches as well. I stuck around mainly for Silksong that last hour. I'm glad you got a genuine surprise with Jurassic Park, and I am already looking forward to the playthrough :)

Stray Goat

Do you like Jurassic Park a little bit?

mattbrush3pwood

What an antidote to a crap day! Love seeing people getting exited and happy about things they love. "if the channel dies, I'll come back for this." Feel like we should set up a beacons of Gondor situation that we can light when this game drops just incase! Or whatever Amber's version of the bat signal is.

Allen

Don't feel guilty for taking your time Amber! While we love your videos, we can be patient for the next one! I hope you channel just grows and grows by the time this game comes out because you deserve it!

ChilledGricken

yeah i found it wild how the guests had forever to speak, but the winners hardly got any. neil newborn was getting cut off during his super heartfelt speech about how people had been so touched by the representation in bg3 and how much it meant, just felt wrong to do that to them

resonatrium

Yes! The BG3 and Alan Wake 2 teams seemed to really appreciate the recognition they got. Coincidentally, both games have moved up in my 2024 must play list.

b0n3man

I knew it was someones fault! Why didn't you have that Hollow Knight blanket! Jokes aside, pretty sad there's still no news, but we can be patient for longer. Silksong is gonna turn out amazing, i fully trust their little studio. It was very nice to see your passion for Jurassic Park bubble up, it's what happens to you when you play a game you like too! It's basically what made me follow you in the first place! The show was pretty weird. It's like a heavy knee jerk reaction to the long-winded speech of Christopher Judge who held a long (but hearfelt) speech last year, so now they were cutting people off. It made no sense, so i hope people can just talk for longer next time. The layoffs should've gotten at least a mention. It's very sad, but i understand the want to just have it be a joyous occasion (and ten minutes of Hideo Kojima) We're not gonna let this channel die! As long as you're here, we'll be here Amber, don't you worry! And don't be afraid to take your time, whenever a new video drops it's gold anyway.

Enguerrand Leclerc

Your enthusiasm for Jurassic Park is contagious. Have you read the book ? It was a favorite when i was a tween. I really hope the game is more Alien Isolation than Dino Crisis, it would feel weird to massacre tons of cutey dinosaurs (even with big teeth) And don't feel guilt, please, It's alright : an Amber video is never late, nor is early, etc , you know the quote ^_^

Suited For Gaming

Everytime I hear "Silk Song" it takes me back down memory lane when Duke Nukem Forever was initially announced. XD If you're itching for a metroidvania game to "scratch that Hollow Knight itch", you can try something like Blasphemous--it has some strong imagery so it may not be everyone's cup of tea...but the gameplay is there. Or Metroid itself; Dread....or even better, Super Metroid. :P

W. W. Wiklund

When we saw this, the friend I watched it with and I both went "Oh my god what if it's a sequel to Trespasser, DOES SHE HAVE THE HEART TATTOO" but after seeing it I really hope it's something closer to Alien: Isolation!

W. W. Wiklund

Haha, just as I finished writing this I heard you say "Alien: Isolation" as well, great minds. 😁

Andrew

If you told me that we’d be getting a survival horror game set in the Jurassic Park universe with Mia Khalifa as the primary protagonist I wouldn’t have believed it. But, here are and I’m so looking forward to it.

Rogue Variable

I can’t wait to see you play through this. A perfect match.

Chris DePrisco

Seeing you so excited for the game makes me excited to watch you play through it!
