July Recap - In Case You Missed It (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

I hope you had a lovely, creative July! Before we get started with August I wanted to recap the main benefits from last month in case you missed anything.

Tutorials

July's lesson video was about choosing colours for your illustrations, with a brief overview of the colour harmonies and then some examples of choosing colour palettes for some sketches I've drawn.

I also made a cute drawing guide for summer about drawing crabs and seashells to add to your beachy scenes!

 Mimi's Illustration Club

The prompt for last month's illustration club was 'a jungle adventure' and you guys drew so many gorgeous illustrations - I looove seeing all of your fantastic ideas!

Here is my sketch and final illustration for the prompt, and let's also take a look at some of the final illustrations that were shared by members of our community:

I had lots of fun making all of the July goodies and seeing your lovely illustrations, I'll share the new illustration club prompt tomorrow! 🥰
