Hello everyone 🎁Today's advent calendar gift is a set of 6 snowflake stamp brushes for you to use in your winter illustrations, and you can download them below as either a .abr file (for Photoshop) or a .brushset file (for Procreate).I made these last year but am still using them in my illustrations and since most of you weren't here for the last advent calendar I wanted to share them again! If you haven't used digitals stamps before, they act the same as regular brushes except they make individual shapes instead of lines.I use them to decorate scenes and usually use a mix of them in different sizes, like in the new wallpapers I made last week: Sometimes I add a blur effect to them as well to soften them and make them feel out of focus:Blur EffectIf you'd like to add a blur effect to soften your snowflakes like I have, here's how to do it in Photoshop and Procreate:To add blur to a layer in Photoshop, select the layer and then go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. The effect will be permanent so make a duplicate or your layer first, or make the layer a smart object first to be able to make adjustments. To add blur to a layer in Procreate, select the layer and then go to Adjustments (the wand icon in the top left), and select Gaussian Blur. You can swipe left or right on the screen to change the blur level, and tap the Adjustments icon again to commit the changes. This is permanent so duplicate your layer first and hide it so that you have a copy of the original!Download the stamps below for Photoshop (the .abr file) or for Procreate (the .brushset file). You should just be able to open the file on your device and they'll import into your software, but just let me know if you have any issues.Enjoy! ❄️💖

Hi Shannon! It depends a bit on your device, but you should be able to click on the attachment that ends in '.brushset' to download it and iPads will usually the prompt you to 'open in..' which lets you choose what program to open the stamps in. Choose Procreate and it should import the stamps. Let me know if that doesn't work and I'll show you another way! 😊💖
