Cute Cottage - Drawing Snapshot (Patreon)

Helloo my flowers, it's almost the end of the month!

I wanted to pop in and share with you a little drawing snapshot of an illustration I did this week of a cute cottage in the woods (pretty much my dream house).

I start with a simple sketch of the composition, and then I block in the shapes and add in some extra details like flowers. The last stage is adding lots of texture and shading to everything, which makes such a big difference!

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend, make sure you download any of the benefits for this month like wallpapers and bookmarks if you haven't already as they'll be replaced next month (of course I can always send them directly to you if you don't get the chance). I'm going to do the calendar for Happy Sunflowers and Beautiful Bluebells before June comes around!

We're finally going to be moving to Tasmania this week and it's going to be so cold compared to Brisbane, I've got my cozy sweaters at the ready!
