Hello lovelies!

I've just made another colour palette video for YouTube where I went on a nature walk and took colour palettes from the environment, and since I'm sharing a document of the colour palettes along with the video I thought I'd pop it here first!

This time it's from the lovely walk we went on a few weekends ago up to the mountains after some snow. It was so lovely and really challenged my assumptions about what colours I might see in a snowy landscape.

You can download the document below, there are lots of palettes there so maybe just pick a few that stand out to you to get started. Maybe they'll inspire a new idea or maybe you could choose one the next time you draw to save you having to choose a palette!

Thanks for sharing! I was inspired last weekend to try and create my own color palette from my family trip to the corn maze/pumpkin patch. How do format/organize your printables? Do you use Canva, PowerPoint or just do everything in Procreate? Thanks!

Ooh that sounds like it would make a lovely colour palette! For documents that are simple like this I just made it in Photoshop (could do the same in Procreate though), for bigger documents like the step-by-step guides I make them in InDesign (but I already have that software for graphic design work), but Canva is sooo good as well. For this one I just have a group of layers for each page and toggle them on/off when exporting as jpgs :)

Thanks!! This is really helpful. I'm a new mom and planning on staying home for the next couple of years and am wanting to find a passion that is for me. Art has really become my happy place. Following you has been really inspirational 🥰
