It's December 25th so for those of you who celebrate it I'd like to wish you a very merry Christmas, and for those of you who don't celebrate then I wish you a very happy end of the year!Thank you so much for your support whether you've been here for a while or are just joining for December - I love sharing art resources and my journey with each and every one of you!I'll be taking a few days off to spend with family but will be back before the end of the month to share the step-by-step drawing guide with you!I want to share a couple of brushes with you that I've been working on and have been using for my sketches and base shapes for my illustrations lately. I'm still working on a texture brush and haven't quite gotten the effect I want yet so hopefully I can get that sorted in the new year!I've got a smoother brush called 'Clean and Tidy' which I use a lot for sketching and colouring, and it still has a little bit of texture to it. The second brush is called 'Nice and Rough' and I use for shapes that I want to have a more textured edge because it has lots more texture to it.I don't yet have a tutorial for these brushes but will be making one in the new year when I have a full set finished, so for now just play around with them as you like!Download the file below, and here are some instructions for importing brushes into Photoshop or Procreate:To import into Photoshop, go to your brushes panel, click on the three line icon in the top right, and the select ‘Import Brushes’ and find the .abr file on your device. It’ll then load into your brush panel, ready for you to use.To import into Procreate, click on the brush symbol, then on the ‘+’ icon. From your brush settings you can tap on ‘Import’ and select the .abr file on your device. It’ll then be loaded into your brushes ready for you to use.Let me know if you have any issues at all, and have a lovely weekend! ❤
