March Illustration Club Wrap-up! (Patreon)

Hello my lovely flowers!

The end of March is nearly here which means the first month of my illustration club is coming to a close! It's been such a delight to see all of your wonderful, creative ideas and I hope you had fun with the prompt ❤

You can of course complete any of the activities from this month at any time, it's never 'too late' to participate so if you don't get a chance to join in until this weekend or later then that's fine too, but I'll be sharing a new prompt in just a few days to start April's club.

So let's take a look at some of the lovely entries for final illustrations that were shared on Discord. I think they're all so sweet and colourful!

There's something about sunshines, happy bumblebees and cute critters that just makes me smile!

To recap, here is my journey for this month's illustration club for the prompt 'a sunny afternoon'.

Activity 1. I started with filling a sketchbook page with any ideas that came to mind for the prompt. I thought of things like refreshing drinks, flowers, bees and a bird in a hat!

Activity 2. Then I drew out some potential compositions using some of the ideas from activity 1.

Activity 3. And finally I took one of those compositions and drew a final illustration with it!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined in on this month's illustration club! Please let me know if you have any suggestions for the club in the future - I'm all ears 🥰
