Hello my lovely flowers!

I hope you're all doing well whether you have lots of creative energy right now or you're taking some time to recharge 🥰

I made some changes to my schedule lately and I feel like I have so much more room to think now! I've reduced my YouTube videos from weekly down to fortnightly and it's given me so much more capacity for drawing and thinking of creative ideas so I'm really glad that I made that change.

With that extra energy I'm excited to work on some fun things over the last three months of the year!

Here's what I'm working on:

I'm starting to write my digital art course! ✨

This month's 'how-to guide' with be all about Halloween and spooky things🦇

I'll be hosting my advent calendar again in December (just 12 days this time) 🎄

And my brush pack is almost ready! 🖌️

Art Course

So I'm turning some of the extra energy towards something that I've been wanting to do for a looonnng time: making my own course! I want it to be a comprehensive guide to getting started with digital art and I'm really excited to work on it over the next few months. It'll be a slow process and I'd love to have it out in time for January but I'm trying not to pressure myself too much.

I'm thinking I'll host it independently for a one-off fee so that people always have access to it rather than hosting it on Skillshare or similar, but I haven't decided yet so let me know what you think.

Halloween & Christmas

It's also one of the most exciting times of the year for drawing for me because there are so many fun art challenges going on in October, lots of spooky Halloween illustrations, autumn colour palettes and then of course Christmas illustrations 🎄

For October, I'll be making a how-to guide this month for Happy Sunflowers and Beautiful Bluebells about how to draw Halloween motifs and make drawings feel a little spooky (but still cute).

Then in December I would really loove to do my advent calendar again because I really enjoyed that last year, except this year I think I'll just do 12 days instead of 25 because that was a lot! I'll make some cute festive goodies again and share one every other day from December 1st until Christmas. It'll be available for all tiers so I'm looking forward to sharing that with you all 🥰

I know that not everyone celebrates Christmas so I'll try not to make my Patreon too Christmassy, but I've always loved the imagery around it of cozy indoor scenes, brightly lit Christmas trees and lots of yummy foods.

Brush Pack

Also, in some other exciting news, I think that my brush pack is almost ready to share with the world and I would love for you to help me test it out! I just have a couple of things I want to fix about them, and then I'll be sharing them here on Patreon later this month as an early release.

I want to share them here first as an extra freebie so that you guys can start using them and can let me know if there's anything you think I should change about them before I pop them on my Etsy store. I'll let you know when they're ready ✨

So many fun things happening at this time of year and I'm so lucky that I get to do this for a job, so I'm really grateful to have you all here! ❤️
