Hello lovelies!

I drew a sketch for this illustration last month but have been busy with the book fair and other things so yesterday at last I had some free time to do some drawing just for fun and I finished colouring them!

I originally drew a pencil sketch for the illustration club but did a different idea for my final illustration, but I liked this one so much that I wanted to draw them as well.

So, let me show you a quick breakdown of my illustration process and I've also attached below the colour palette in case you'd like to download it and use it for your own art 🥰

My illustration process went a little something like this:

First I drew a digital sketch based off of the pencil sketch that I had drawn earlier.

Then I made that sketch about 20-30% opacity and 'multiply' blend mode so that I would be able to easily see through it onto other layers.

On new layers below, I started colouring in each area, using my sketch layer as a reference for my shapes. I mostly keep elements that are different colours on different layers.

Then I added some details like the grass and flowers.

After that I gave everything a few layers of shading and texture using my texture brushes.

And that's about it!

I'm glad that I took the time to draw this little mousey - I think they turned out really sweet and I had fun drawing them 😊🐭🌷
