A new season is beginning and I'm excited to create lots of cosy autumn illustrations this year since I'm in the Northern Hemisphere!

I sat down with my sketchbook this week and wrote a list of the things that I want to draw for autumn and a few activities that I'd like to do, and I thought I'd share it with you πŸ˜ŠπŸ‚πŸ΅

So here are the things that I'd really like to do before the end of autumn:

Draw some pumpkins

Draw a pie

Draw autumn leaves

Draw a cute sweater

Draw an animal in a scarf

Complete four drawing challenge prompts

Watch a cozy movie while I draw

Go on a walk to collect nature inspiration

Make pumpkin spice treats for an arty afternoon

It was fun to write a themed list and decorate it, I recommend putting on some cute music, getting yourself a warm drink, and writing your own list!

Do you have certain things that you want to do or draw this season (maybe for spring if you're in the southern hemisphere)?

I've made a small YouTube video about this activity that will be out on the weekend but I wanted to show you here first! πŸ‚βœ¨

I actually really want to draw a comfy scenario of folks just drinking hot cocoa and playing in leaf piles😊

I wish I could motivate myself to think of cosy autumnal scenes but it’s too hot and sticky for me! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜©

This list screams of autumnπŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯° I really wanna draw a little cute ghost with a funny face, don’t ask me why 🀭 but I will also try some ideas from your list. Where I live (northern Germany) we still have 30 degrees which is totally unusual so it is still weird to think about drawing autumnal things…

Yess it's been such a warm September, maybe later in the month will start to feel a bit cosier!
