Mimi's Newsletter - A Quiet Month In The Mountains (Patreon)

Hello lovelies!

Thought I'd give you an update about what I've been up to in October - as always the end of the month has crept up on me!

We've been in the Welsh mountains this month, spending sunny days out walking and rainy days (which there have been plenty of) indoors working. It's been a fairly quiet month, working away on our regular content and taking some time to enjoy the mountains.

I had a deadline due for the colour illustrations of the latest book that I'm working on, so that took up a lot of my illustrating time which means that I didn't get too much time to draw just for fun.

I did still manage to squeeze in a few ghosts for spooky season though - fortunately they're quite quick characters to draw!

I'm not huge on Halloween but I do enjoy drawing a few (cute) spooky things, and in general I enjoy illustrating for autumn so am always happy to draw with lots of oranges and pumpkins in October.

I'm personally more excited about Christmas illustrations so I'll be spending some time in November getting ahead on some things for my digital Advent Calendar that I'll be hosting here again in December! I can't wait to put on a festive movie, grab a blanket, and draw some lovely winter scenes ⛄🌲❄️
