Mimi's Newsletter - Preparing For My Advent Calendar! (Patreon)

Hello lovelies!

It's nearly time for my annual digital advent calendar and I'm so excited to share it with you! As always, it will be available for all patrons in any of the paid tiers (Little Posy, Happy Sunflower & Beautiful Bluebell) 🎄✨🎁

Starting from December 1st, there will be a festive treat every second day right up until December 23rd, and I've been making things like digital brushes, digital stamps, little tutorials and a couple of digital downloads.

This year I was determined to get ahead and have most of it done in November, but I am always overambitious in what I think I can achieve and naturally I still have lots of it to make 😂 I am a little bit ahead though and have lots of the prep work done so that's a good start.

I've decided to theme the advent calendar this year so that most of the treats fit under the same theme which will be Winter in the Woods. I drew an illustration of a mouse walking with a pile of presents to put on my website and I loved drawing it so much - I'll be putting it on a few advent treats!

I know that not everybody celebrates Christmas, so I'll make sure that there are some benefits in December that are not Christmas related as well!

As for what else I've been up to in November, I've been enjoying spending some time in the countryside in Yorkshire and watching the seasons change from autumn to winter. Just this week it has started getting very frosty, but the start of the month was full of vibrant autumn trees!

We're staying in the town where the Bronte sisters lived and wrote their novels, and it's full of cute little shops and surrounded by lovely rolling hills. When it's not raining I go for a walk first thing in the morning and it's always great for inspiration.

I took a little break from making weekly YouTube videos because even though I like making them, weekly content is a bit too quick for me! I think I'll go back to making just a couple of YouTube videos a month for a while and see how that feels - sometimes you just have to try things for a while to know whether they work for you or not.

Can't wait to start sharing advent calendar goodies with you in a couple of days! Oh and the Beatutiful Bluebell lesson video for this month should be out later today or tomorrow 💖
