*please note the advent calendar downloads were exclusive to December 2023 patrons. If you were a Patron in December and missed the downloads then send me a message 😊*Hello everyone, it's December 11th so I have another advent calendar gift for you!

I've made a set of gift box stamp shapes for us all to have fun playing with 🎁✨ You can download them below as either a .abr file (for Photoshop) or a .brushset file (for Procreate).

It seems like the app sometimes has trouble downloading files but the browser version of Patreon works better if you can't download straight from the app.

Although stamp sets aren't as useful as regular brushes, I think they can be nice to enjoy some casual drawing.

Here are a few ways I like to use these stamps:

Use them as a guide for colour illustrations

You can use stamps to skip the sketching process and go straight to colouring! To do this without outlines is really simple:

1. Choose your stamp and press once to place the shape (the angle will change randomly each time so you can always undo and press again if you don't like the angle). Make that layer about 30% opacity.

2. On new layers below the first one, colour in the shapes using the stamp outline as a reference. You don't need to follow it perfectly, and feel free to add embellishments!

3. When you're finished you can simply hide or delete the layer with the stamp outline on it and reveal your colour illustration!

Use them for easy colouring in

You can also use them just for a bit of casual colouring in! Simply stamp the shapes that you like, and then on a new layer below enjoy colouring them in.

Use them to make quick patterns

The third way that I like to use stamps is to make quick and easy patterns. I like to use a few different shapes at different angles to make a repeating pattern.

I think I might make this month's Beautiful Bluebell lesson video about how to draw repeating patterns so keep an eye out for that later in the month!

I hope you enjoy using these festive stamps! 🎁✨
