As I write this, I am packing for a trip to Syracuse, where I will see Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Robert Planet, and Allison Krauss at this year's Outlaw Music Festival. I've seen Dylan before, but not Willie — best to see him while there's still time. You'll hear more from me later.

I have not watched the debate. My bedtime is 8pm EST because television news is a very healthy business, so I fell asleep before Biden and Trump took the stage. From what I hear, everything went fantastic. So let's move on.

We should probably talk more about Gaza. Al Jazeera is covering atrocities like a Palestinian mother and son selling food to survive the famine. Refugee camps are still getting bombed. And 62 House Democrats just voted with 207 Republicans to block the State Department from citing the Gaza Health Ministry's death statistics. Remember when people said calling this a genocide was offensive?

At least the Bolivian coup failing was nice. SCOTUS decisions have been bizarre.
