September Roster (Patreon)

Thought I'd do a roundup of friends' work so y'all can be aware it's out there. If y'all would like me to share stuff in the future, let me know; there's a paucity of creators of color on this list and I want to rectify that. It's possible I'll make this a monthly feature of the $2+ tier. We shall see.

XIPS by Destiny USA - Obviously I have to lead with my partner's new record. It's terrific stuff - a quasi-industrial post-post-punk soundscape of trans rage and pure weirdness. This music video which I helped shoot somewhat slaps too.

Britain A Prophecy #1 - My parents are dropping the first issue of their Vertigo-homaging 'magical British' comic. I read the script before the art was done, and it rules. Can't wait to read the whole thing.

Dystopian Thesis - My friend Rowan Fortune is doing great work writing about dystopian fiction, esp. George Orwell and Philip K. Dick's The Man in the High Castle, with a Marxist lens. (I've got a planned essay on Dick's Valis coming soon-ish, possibly as a pilot to an essay miniseries, so seeing Rowan publish this jolted me a little.)

Better Yet? - An audio drama produced by and starring my old friend Sage Mann.
