Not to put words in anyone’s mouths but I bet God said ‘give them phones so they may talk and grow closer together’ (or something similar but loftier). And Satan said, ‘let there be IVR trees to frustrate them’ and ‘and make the phones play games and send stupid little bluebird burps of useless info and we’ll see who gets close’!
