First things first, about the upcoming off-chapters. I'll be starting the final edit tomorrow night, so it should be coming in a few more days, but I'm afraid I'll have to put off Thonk's off-chapter. I'll only be releasing the two offscreen chapters focusing on the two pairs of siblings' relationship instead; basically, this batch is a themed release.Why did Thonk's off-chapter get postponed (poor Thonk)?Synopsis for said off-chapter:

Thonk gets torn between two ladies: first, his ex, the one who gave him a strawberry milk juice box back in the flashback chapter 15, and second, the girl who asked him to dance with during the school festival. He sought advice and got a whole lot more than he asked for when all the monkeys started to "help" in his love affair. Sides form, meddling starts, and chaos ensues.

I have long planned this off-chapter, and it is one that I was excited to tell. But I need more time to deliver it as I intended. Scenes and arcs where everyone gets involved take a tremendous amount of time and balance, at least more than I anticipated, and I'd rather move on to Chapter 28 soon. It won't be long before I get back to it since it canonically takes place between Chapters 30 and 31. And the good news is, it won't have a solo release schedule; it should just coincide with a chapter. What else have I been doing?Rerunning the script for Hime + Hatsumi and the Mako + Yumi off-chapters' script over and over again, and a whole lot of writing, not necessarily for the current content, but also for the next succeeding chapters. I guess I've been a little selfish recently and have only been working on my favorite part of development.

On the not-so-bright side of things, current content gets delayed, people waiting get upset, and some of the parts that needed focus get overlooked. I have a ton of backlog waiting for me after this release, and I'm ready to get back to it. Promotion, finding moderators, and working on our pages, among other things. However, on the bright side, I have outlined, storyboarded, and written at least the next 5 chapters, hence my title. I should be able to release them consecutively and within relatively short intervals.Here's the summarized storyline for each without spoiling anything as much as possible:Chapter 28-29 - Akemi's Lost Time arc, while at the same time paralleling said issue within the present. Return of fan favorites Akiro and Kyouko, with the addition of a "new" character. And a look at MC's life outside the monkeys. Chapter 30 - Return to present, Lorfa Industries' destination location scouting turned topsy-turvy, and relationships get strained.

Chapters 31-32 - Vacation Trip Parts 1 and 2. As some of you may have read in our Discord server, I asked how you would like to see these 8 people get paired: Iroha, Akemi, Hana, FMC, Hikari, Yukine, MC, and Hime. Now I ask the same question here. While I have already paired them even before I asked on either platform, I'd still like to hear everyone's thoughts and what they look forward to. Use the comment section or even drop a message. They are ready and waiting to be made. So hang tight because we're going on a development spree.

On EO's side of things

Never thought you'd hear me put that on an update, huh? He's on duty to better the experience in all three books. I have him working on the alternate text and bettering the game's accessibility towards the visually impaired, and I also have him working on the game's music and SFX, and overall presentation.Lastly, the poll:

As some of you may recall, there was a poll regarding the title of one of the off-chapters. The winning choice is clearly stated in the title card draft below. It was a nail-biting close poll, the closest we've had. Unfortunately, we can't use both... Or can we???? The other title was "A Tail of Two Sisters."Anyway, here are two drafts that I made for the title card; it's nothing fancy, but it's the first chapter to have its unique title card since it'll be a multipart off-chapter.
