Previews and ETA for Chapter 29 (Patreon)

Chapter 29 will be titled "Princess Onikemi"

Act 1 is titled "Patriarchal Pains," as per the poll.

Act 1 is done, and I could even release it within 12 hours, but I'll hold off; it pairs with Act 2 nicely.

Act 2 is titled "Meet The Sakagamis"

Act 2 is currently a mess, and with that in mind, I'll give an estimate of around 10-12 days til the release of the chapter.

A few of these previews have been shown before in Discord; some are edited, but most are new.

The chapter is so time-consuming in development, in a good way. My goal is to make sure that nothing gets glossed over, but that also means I shouldn't dilly-dally around the mundane; it's a difficult balance to maintain, and I believe I have done it well for Act 1.

Moping and wallowing in self-pity is always a hard watch, no matter what form of media. I avoided that and let the trauma and/or guilt speak out in a more entertaining way.

Act 2 is currently so disorganized, frankly, because there's too much material and there's a different setting to work with. It's all there; I merely need time to arrange it, directing the flow, and telling it in a way that it doesn't confuse the audience. I'm still mulling over whether I'll cut the latter portion of Act 2 and separate it into Act 3, to tidy it up, or just keep it as is. We'll see. If ever it gets split into Act 3, it'll be titled "More Time Together."

Chapter 29 is long, very long, hence the dividing by acts, and if you recall, the other chapter(26) that was divided into acts was 2 hours and change long. A huge portion of Chapter 28 was moved into it, mostly the Sakagami content. Act 1 mostly remained as is before I started developing the chapter; it was Act 2 that got significantly expanded.

Chapter 29 Highlights:

You learn the identity of the Yandere.

Akiro really hits his stride as a SUPPORTING character here. Kyouko also shines, but Akiro's impact is more profound yet subtle.

Wrapping up multiple subplots

A deeper look into some of the other characters' core that's not possible for me to display in the main timeline.

The foundations of Lost Time MC and PinkYumi.

Follow through on Akemi's shift in writing regarding her maternal figure, thankful that I decided to do it differently.

This chapter is more of a flex on the cast's chemistry rather than moving the plot forward. I'm saying this because a chunk of Lost Time's plot has to play out still in the main timeline.

Another cute girl that you can't do anything with ;)

No screentime for these LIs at all, Yukine, Chitose, Hime, and Hana. Don't kill me. Relax, we have the vacation chapters coming.

After Chapter 29, I'll close up this arc real quickly. I know I've said it before, but it all aligns perfectly for Chapter 30, speeding up its development. I also want to relish in the message Chapter 30 will tell; having it released as soon as possible emphasizes the message and adds more impact to said Chapter. I'll explain after its release.

Chapter 30 will also be significantly shorter than both its arc-mates.
