Anna EA 1.7 Renpy version (Patreon)

Hello, dear Patrons!

An updated Renpy version is out for those who are not much into Rpg Maker. You can find it in the main release post here.  

At the moment it's just a port made by Osmcuser132. There are versions for PC, MAC and Android. It's not perfect as there should be made additional renders, but so far everything runs fine. If you will like it, we might work further to make it even better.

I like the renpy version easier for me and most people i mean rpg maker is fine but prefer renpy

whats the renpy version and what is the difference?

I would love it if this was the official version, Ren'py is so much nicer to use for games like Anna (no offence to the work you've done!)

Ren'py means you don't need to run around the map and you can scroll back through the conversations if you want to see them again. It's also much faster if you want/need to skip through the content, say you're doing a second playthrough to see a different path

Rpg doesnt bother me in the slightest. But then I'm used to playing mmorpg's, with absolutely huge gameworld maps . Granted that scrolling back through conversations can be useful, especially when having to make decisions. On renpy games it's possible to immediately scroll back and try a different decision if you didnt like the first one.

If you want to hear my opinion: just drop the RPGM version and focus solely on the ren'py one. It is a way better framework on almost every aspect and more suited for a game like yours. Provide an updated savegame for players who don't want to start all over and you're pretty much set.

Even without the savegame, it's not that difficult to copy your saves from the last update and incorporate them in the new one. I do that everytime, just requires a few minutes extra effort

I dont understand how anybody can object to this kind of material, when 'Anna' in essence, is a corruption type adult game. Ultimately, whatever choices you make, she is going to be used and abused in some way. The only difference is whether she retains her purity and hates what she has to do, or is seduced by the dark side and ends up enjoying it.

I was talking about migrating from RPGM to Ren'py. AFAIK there is no way to import/convert a save from one platform to another
