Hello, dear Patrons!A quick weekly update on the progress both of the next update and a visual novel I'm working on.

I'm still thinking of how to improve the last update and one idea was to change the order of the scenes. Now I understand that Anna didn't have any important reason to do what she did after Rebecca's kidnapping so it should happen right before she goes to Fitzgerald's. It would take the least amount of effort and together with changed last scene it would make more sense. What do you think?

Work on a visual novel, as I tend to call it is also going great and I'm getting hang of renpy. I'll try to make it a bit more interesting so it's more like a game with something more to do than just going from one scene to another. It's not going to be too complex, but still, something new, at least for me.

Here you can see one of the path's Anna will be going through. I like that location and I hope that it will turn out to be an interesting scene.

That's it for now.

Thank you again for your amazing support.

Love the outfit! And yeah swapping a few of the scenes around, along with a bit of a dialogue will probably help. Is the renpy project a separate one to Anna?

You are right! Changing the scenes around make more sense

I don't get what you mean. She visits Ashley to get access to the security footage, so she can check whether Andrew was in the car. She dresses sexy because she needs to give Ashley some incentive to help her. And Ashley being Ashley, he takes advantage of that, and Anna being Anna she gets turned on and ends up doing stuff she never intended originally. Yeah, if this was real life, Anna would never have had sex with Ashley and Hannah, because she would have been only thinking about Rebecca. But in real life Anna would never make most of the decisions she makes, so there is plenty of existing precedent for her behavior in this update. Later she goes to the bar with Andrew, to discover why he was in the car, and if he's involved with Fitzgerald. Anna has proven time after time, that she's a calm and resourceful girl, and I don't believe that she would be freaking out about Rebecca's kidnapping, but would be doing whatever she could to locate Rebecca and help to rescue her. But before she confronted Andrew, she had to be sure he really was in that car. Otherwise she could have been wasting her time following a lead, that would get her nothing. So personally, I don't think it makes sense, to change the order of the scenes

I disagree, changing the scenes makes no sense. Anna has to make sure that Andrew was in that car first. And she needs to visit Ashley to do that. Otherwise, why would she go to the bar with Andrew, if she wasn't totally certain he was in that car? Because that would have been frivolous behaviour, and she couldn't know if she'd be totally wasting her time. If she doesn't visit Ashley first, she never would have gone to the bar with Andrew, because she probably would have gone to see Sergey immediately.

For me, the only scene that doesn't make any sense, is her visit to the hobo. Would she have been so concerned about him, after her sister had just been kidnapped? I don't think she would have thought about him at all at such a time. But let's be fair, it's a minor issue. And only becomes a major issue, if you're determined to be pedantic, as it seems some people have been with this update
