Dear fans,

today Ganassa turned his gaze to a messy, darkly entertaining anime that stand out, Chainsmoker Cat! So here's Yaniko Sato, or Yanineko, the perpetually tired, scruffy, chain-smoking catgirl at the center of it all.

And beneath all the comedy, there's a surprisingly unvarnished take on addiction: when Yani wrecks herself because of her habits, she really does wreck herself. The manga doesn't shy away from showing the ugly side of it, even while making you laugh.

Ganassa himself doesn't smoke and isn't exactly a fan of smoking, but hey—fictional characters are allowed to have bad habits, especially when they're this much fun to draw! XD
