[Release] Graveyard Cathedral - A Spooky Season Release! (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Well, this release isn't exactly a coincidence. Spooky season is upon us, Halloween is just around the corner, and I thought I'd bring you some treats of my own. And by treats, I mean a HUGE new battlemap pack!

Seriously, this one is packed. The Champion Pack alone weighs almost 5 GB, and the Animated Maps Pack adds another 4 GB on top of that. So yeah, there's quite a lot to explore here!

Welcome to Graveyard Cathedral!

This time, I'm taking you to the ruins of an ancient cathedral, surrounded by an old, overgrown graveyard. Forgotten pathways wind between crumbling tombstones, ancient statues stand watch over the dead, and nobody really remembers who's buried beneath those graves anymore.

I had an absolute blast creating this location, mostly because I wanted to capture two completely different moods in the same place.

So by day, Graveyard Cathedral is a place of nostalgia, melancholy, and quiet reflection. There's something strangely beautiful about these forgotten ruins, with golden autumn leaves slowly falling over the old cemetery. I wanted it to feel peaceful, perhaps even a little sad. A place where time has stood still, and nature is slowly reclaiming what was once sacred.

Honestly, I think the daytime version might be one of my favorite autumn settings I've created so far.

...but once the sun goes down... well, that's a completely different story.

The same ruins turn into something far more sinister. The graveyard becomes dark, haunted, mysterious, and genuinely unsettling. What seemed like a peaceful resting place during the day now feels like somewhere you really shouldn't be wandering after sunset.

And that's exactly where you come in, Game Masters!

Ghosts, restless spirits, undead creatures, ancient curses, or perhaps something even worse lurking beneath the cathedral ruins. I can imagine quite a few encounters taking place here, especially if you're running a horror-themed adventure or preparing something special for Halloween.

I really love the idea that the very same location can tell two completely different stories, depending on when your players arrive.

And with so many map variants included in this release, I hope you'll find plenty of ways to put Graveyard Cathedral to good use in your campaigns.

2 Cinematic Intros, one for the peaceful autumn day and another for the much darker, haunted night.

So whether you prefer classic static battlemaps or want to go all-in with animated maps, POV scenes, and cinematic introductions, there's plenty here to play with!

And yes, this is why those download files are so ridiculously huge!

A quick note about Foundry modules & Roll20 uvtt

The Foundry VTT modules are still being put together! I'm hoping to get them finished before I head off to visit my family, because we've got a pretty special occasion coming up - we're celebrating my little daughter's first birthday!

So fingers crossed I can wrap everything up before we leave. If not, the modules will follow as soon as I get the chance!
