Howard was my second favorite character since season 1; i'd predicted the twist with Chuck (my fav even tho he wasn't "justified") early in the season; and loved him flaws and all as he wasn't perfect ever since and after chuck died Howard took the number one spot. I've never seen that level of mourning for a character than the morning afterwards in any of the shows I've seen, all across social media, forums, youtube etc- Hamlindigo blue became my Twitter profile pic for nearly a year afterwards. RIP

I think for Kim, the money is how she is able to justify it to herself, but she definitely does enjoy it. We see from early on that she enjoys the scamming lifestyle, but her morals stop her from going further. With the Sandpiper situation, she was able to reason with herself that (as she says in the S5 finale) all they're doing is giving one lawyer a career setback while getting enough money for her to open a practice that could help a lot of people, along with helping all the elders in the case get their money sooner (I do think Howard/the lawyers were being scummy with continuing to drag the case out for their own benefit). So with that justification, she's able to "allow" herself to pull off the scams and have all the fun she wants.
