The ending in this episode is a special one, it is sung by Sayaka's and Kyouko's voice actors. I really like Kyouko's character arc which took place over just a few episodes! She got reminded by Sayaka why she became a magical girl in the first place, and somewhat "reverted" to that mindset. I think that when the fight with Sayaka's witch happens, Kyouko's Soul Gem was already very tainted because Kyouko has kept Sayaka's corpse fresh using magic, and of course she probably expended a lot of magic in the fight itself. So instead of becoming a witch, she chose to go out like she did, "joining" Sayaka. After all, her father called Kyouko a witch, when he found out about her - Kyouko probably didn't want to prove him right.
