I know I'm late to the party, but I'm just going to comment here and there as I re-live your X-Files journey. Which I am thoroughly enjoying, btw. This is an episode where they take you along down a "Supernatural" shape-shifter trail, but then drop the "Paranormal" crop circle twist at the very end. Those two categories may overlap, but I think they have their distinctions. So yeah, cue the Ancient Aliens meme here: "I'm not saying it was aliens... but it was aliens."
