I almost reacted the same way as you did when I first saw the plane crash scene. It is an underrated scene of TXF in my view, underrated in that it is one of the most terrifying scenes ever. Absolutely terrifying in every way.

Gribly

The song that was playing in Max's trailer was from a track on a compilation album released in 1996. Some pretty kick ass metal/electronic tunes that were highly rated at the time. One of the songs was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1997. "Hands of Death (Burn Baby Burn)" featuring Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper. The one line you hear in the episode is the title of the song, "Unmarked Helicopters." The entire album can be found on Youtube. Just do a search for "Songs in the Key of X: Music from and Inspired by the X-Files"
