being that maul is my favorite star wars character, your instant (sometimes hilarious 😂) love of him years ago in the clone wars shot you up my list of go-to star wars reactors. i’ve almost been looking forward to these videos as much as i have the show itself LOL. as far as the laser sword comment goes, i’m assuming it’s a case of regional dialect. i remember anakin refers to qui-gon’s lightsaber as that when they meet on tatooine. it also would make sense for people to use the “incorrect” term on planets that don’t see much jedi. just in case you don’t remember, crimson dawn was introduced in solo, which is set roughly 8 years after this series. paul bettany and emilia clarke’s characters (dryden vos and qi’ra) were part of the syndicate

"I wanna lick his horns.." BREATHE KRISSY BREATHE!!!!! HAHAHA! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So this is like roughly 4 years after Clone Wars which places it around the end of the Bad Batch. Pretty much at the end of the Clone Wars Maul told the Shadow Collective leaders as well as heads of other Syndicates he was allied with to go into Hiding as the Empire arose but since then they basically pushed the Block Button 🚫 on Maul so he's out to make them pay for their "betrayal". "Sabine??" Haha no but that's funny considering she's voiced by Hera's Actress 😂 That is Rook Kast though who was Maul's Mandalorian Lieutenant during the Clone wars. Yeah Captain Brander Lawson's one of my Favourite characters from this show 😍 He was given a whole Background & Story in a Prequel comic to this series setting him up so I was excited to see him jumping into this for the first time. Basically he's a former Mercenary who is now a Detective so that's why he's not exactly a huge follower of protocol & rules. He has a Son called Rylee who's a Star Sports player, and also don't worry he's actually recently divorced so he's available as well 😂😂🤔

to the best of my knowledge, iridonia is where zabraks originated from, the ones with more natural/human looking skin tones. the dathomirian are a result of zabrak settlers interbreeding with the, at the time, human nightsisters. this would explain why the nightbrothers and the nightsisters look so different despite technically being the same species (which tbh, i didn’t realize until a few years ago lol)

Hahaha, I can't help it. It's ingrained in me to want to lick his horns. I really liked the first episode; it just got straight into it, without having to wait for Maul to show up halfway through. Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked Lawson! A divorcee, aye? Hmm, I can work with that! Hahah!

I must try and rewatch Solo. I remember being pretty meh with it when I saw it on release. I DO remember the scene wiht Maul though. And I totally forgot that Qi'ra was Emilia Clarke lol.

i liked solo more on my rewatch than i did with my initial viewing. my biggest issue with the movie is that it teased a much more interesting story with maul and qi’ra, which we unfortunately never got a follow up on lol. maybe shadow lord will span long enough to eventually cover that, who knows
