Yes, Rhaenyra set Laenor free so he could run away with his love and be at sea. Daemon is the best husband for Rhaenyra, plus she's clearly always wanted him, even over Sir petty b*tch Criston who was just fun for her. Yes i believe their wedding was a traditional Valerian wedding. I actually agree with Viserys, (& of course always been Team Black) they are a family and Rhaenyra's sons and decent sweet boys who are just as much Targaryen as Allicents kids. Yes they may be technically bastards but, if the crown isnt bothered and they still have royal blood unlike Cersei's kids, it shouldn't matter. Even Laenor truly acknowledges them as his kids, and Coryls said it perfectly "History remembers names not blood" Allicent has been holding grudges for over a decade and most of it is jealously because Rhaenyra is free to do as she pleases in her eyes. But both had heavy burdens but on their shoulders, but only one is being petty, & raising her kids to hate, and to see Rhaenyra's kids as bastards and threats. Its so sad because hate is made not born, all of those kids could have been close. Even Baela & Rhaena formed a bond & friendship with Jace and Luke soon after meeting. (Being decent boys they stood up for the still grieving girls & each other against Aemond) Rhaenyra has tried to make peace and be the bigger person but Allicent is so much like her father now & its funny how she later gets shocked by her sons behavious, when she made them that way, especially Aegon.
