Michael Lynch

Oh damn, you guys are on a roll. I will definitely accept this as a point break substitute. Very cool movie. Also the guy with the mask is agent Smith from the matrix

fLYChiCA

I never liked this movie but it was a long time ago

Rebecca Karsner

Brandon Wheeler

Mister Lou

Pop_Pop_Taq

I was waiting for your reactions when Apollo died. Poor Rocky can't catch a break Mikey now Apollo.

Rebecca Karsner

Great reaction!! Just finished watching!! OMG watching the ending to this in 2024 is wild!! Literally describing the state of the world today!! Virus outbreaks, political divisions, and the part about how the last election results weren't well taken by the public... I mean that sounds oddly familiar 🤔 👀 LOL but omg so glad you guys enjoyed this!! That ending was THE BOMB!! Literally 😂Natalie Portman is such a great actress!! I hope you guys someday get to watch some of her other films as well.. but mostly Black Swan where she won an Oscar for best actress.. and rightfully so!! I had an awesome time watching this!! Gotta tell my brother to check this out, this is his favorite movie! He has seen your reactions to breaking bad and game of thrones on YouTube!! 😁 Can't wait for the next one!! Have a goodnight ✌️

Matt F

I second that! The Mask of Zorro is great.

Jesse McAdams

The mask is worn by the hacker group Anonymous which hacks governments and businesses that do shady stuff and to help people that are being severely wronged. It might take a second time watching this to fully understand and appreciate the movie. Makes you think after 2020.

Eddie Munzter

oh nice, been wanting to see this again

Jesse McAdams

V is 5 in roman numerals and was on his cell. He was number 5. He was not related to the guy in the beginning. His goal was based off him. They were experimenting on their political enemies and people who they don't like. I think you guys are overcomplicating this.

Gary Morse

great movie and great reaction.

Saints_Madness

Excellent, Still suggesting X-Men 97 if your a Marvel fan. If I must upgrade to VIP to have my voice heard I will. Its Marvel Animation and so far on Youtube its getting alot of reactions. And the group your talking about with the mask is Anonymous. They show the world for what it is. Make you become aware of the corruption and not only that, current events. The news is scripted so its not to be trusted.

Dan Gonya

Technically, the actor who played V, Hugo Weaving, was unmasked in the crowd at the end, along with Valerie and Ruth, Dietrich, the little girl who was shot, and many of the other people who had died during the experiments at Larkhill.

Dan Gonya

V was the man in room 5. We don't know why he was captured and sent there. I doubt he was gay or a Muslim, but perhaps he may have been a political idealist who spoke out against Sutler's Norsefire Party. The film doesn't exactly say. Either way, whatever tests they did on everyone, his blood was different. The tests erased his memories, but gave him advanced strength, dexterity, and reflexes. However his blood was also the key that allowed them to create the pathogen and the cure for it, which is why he feels partly responsible for the whole thing and went to face his death in the tunnel. V captured and locked Evey up before Creedy and his men could at Ditreich's house. ( in fact, if you pause it, you can see that the guy that slips a bag over her head is badly burned under his ski mask) V then faked the detention center thing to show her that there are things more valuable than her life. The note was from Valerie, who was in the cell next to his at Larkhill. He received the letter just like Evey did, through a hole in the wall. DM me any other questions you might have because I know this movie back and forth. 😊 This movie is still very relevant especially with all the left wing controlled news sources and people trying to control speech. This kind of tyrannical government can pop up if people become slaves to fear and trade their rights away for a sense of security.

CALIXYUKON

Great movie choice! Awesome reaction guys!!

Darth Brooks

Whaaat!?!?! I just now seen this by opening the app. Dang you patreon for no notification on this but thank you because I'm off today and just got up guess I'm diving in fam✌❤!

Awilda Luciano

When this first came out, I didn’t give it a chance only because of the mask. Fun fact: I will never see Jason or Halloween for that same reason. Lol But I watched it with you guys and it was cool. Thanks as always!!!😊

Jesse McAdams

I don't think they watched the older ones so I don't think they'd understand what's going on. I'm enjoying '97 though.

Dan Gershgol

One of my favorite movies period. Loved seeing you react.

Brandon Wheeler

I love when he falls against the wall and his blood looked like a v from leaning then falling and getting back up. Also this is very eerie similar to Covid times

Josh

"People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people." - V

I'm Batman

Who are you? Who? Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am is a man in a mask. Well I can see that. Of course you can, I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.

Jerry

I got a lot of content to catch up on. Thanks : )

Jerry

I love this movie for a couple of reasons. Back then people took it as an anti-capitalism movie. It's far from it. 1 - It is about realizing how quickly we (whatever country, USA, GB, Australia, Canada) can become facistic. 2 - Freedom of speech is paramount (not the channel, the idea) I would love for you to react to the movie 1984 from the 80's with John Hurt as the main character (Other great appreances in descending order of appereances, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Alien)

Patrick Silkes

This movie predicted Covid/lockdowns/vaccines=government tyranny. Unfortunately we didn't have a real life V lol

MichelleMyBell

V was like the Bruce Lee with knives. EV when she went out into the pouring rain how it was filmed reminded of when in the movie Shawshank Redemption, when Andy comes out of the sewer and lifts his arms up and the rain pours on him. Anyone else sense that too in that scene ? I love Natalie Portman can't believe she actually got her head shaved in the movie. Thank You Asia & BJ my friends for all that you do. Much love and respect. ❤️❤️🙂

Andi Szilagyi

This movie is based on the comic by the same name, written by Alan Moore. It was published in the mid 1980s. Dystopian fiction can take place in any timeframe! This was a great rendition of the comic for sure.

Geminei

Lmfao Asia your face working out what the hell V is saying after he saves Evy from the fingermen at the start is absolutely hilarious...! Too many words starting with v! hahahaha

Geminei

He wasn't holding Valerie, she died during the time V was in a cell beside her, she was writing those messages to V. Evy received the messages from V, not Valerie, as she died years ago. He kept her messages, and gave them to Evy in the same way he received them in his cell beside Valerie. It is explained in the movie but you guys might have missed it! Definitely a movie worth watching another time.

the government didn't draw its power from those things, it used peoples fear. It kept out and persecuted those who were different, who thought or believed different things. At least in the US, we've had no lasting 'tyranny' after the public health crisis passed; except perhaps those who prey on peoples fear of future 'tyranny'. If you want to see true tyranny, look at North Korea.

Deirdre

I'm guessing North Korea is also on that list

Josh

Definitely is. They are the few.... we are the many
