One of my favorite movies ever. Going to watch later tonight. It's about time you got to this. Can't wait for the laughs.

Rebecca Karsner

It's been a long while since I've watched this!! Gonna try to watch tonight.. I got sent out of town again by my company 🙃 😒 😑 lol Hope everyone is having a great week!!

Lewsifer

So excited u finally watching this and perfect timing with the Olympics next week.

RollingAcres47

I saw this movie in the theater when I was a little kid...I still to this day at 39 years old never miss the bobsled races in the Olympics! RIP John Candy! One of the greatest.

WickedPizzaPie

SANKA!!!! IS YA DEAD MON?!!! Ughhh This movie didn’t leave my VCR as a child. It was either this or Jurassic Park. Freaking. Classic.

WickedPizzaPie

lol Work trips ain’t vacations but they’re close!!!!! 😂

Daniel

Love this movie! Another great Olympics movie you should watch is I, Tonya! Its based on the true story and controversy of figure skater Tonya Harding and stars Margot Robbie! Its sooo good

James Boyd

In case you were wondering the bald guy's name "Yul Brynner," was the same name as a famous white actor from the 50s and 60s. He was known for being one of the first famous actors to have a shaved head. That's why the other team members looked at each other funny when he said his name.

Rebecca Karsner

Not when you have to work all day in a crazy town 😅🫤🥺

Sean G

Love this movie. I was with ya Asia, I shed a couple of tears watching this movie. Amazing movie, amazing message and the great John Candy. Great reaction!

Lori Mcmyne

I have never watched this movie but always wanted too but now I will cuz you two are so much fun and adorable 💕

Sapporo Dragon

So glad you finally decided to watch this as it was one of the movies on the list I sent you of movies based on true life events.. I will have to watch it later as I am still trying to catch up on Sons of Anarchy. I still haven’t finished season 1. 🤦🏻‍♂️

RollingAcres47

By the way, Jamaica still competes in the Olympics in the bobsled to this very day.

James Boyd

Yes, Jamaica has a real bobsled team. The team first competed in the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, where their four-man bobsled crashed and they didn't finish. The team's story inspired the Disney movie Cool Runnings, which incorporated actual ABC sports footage from the 1988 Olympics. Some say the movie captured the team's spirit, even if it took some creative liberties.

Shanice British

As a Jamaican this is my sh*t. Such a fun watch

CastleLovesJesus

I am about to watch this right now. One of my favs

LynnC

It's loosely based on the 1988 Jamaican bobsled team. The director said the true element was the crash and the cause of the crash and everything else mostly fiction.

Dan Gershgol

Yes. This is a true story. Also there have been jamaican bobsled teams ever since. This was John Candy's last movie before he died.

Teri

Hey there Asia & BJ. How ya doing. I have not seeing this one in a looooong time. It was a good movie. This might be the 2nd time I've seen. It should be fun.

Darth Brooks

The I just realized Kurt is Arlo Givens from Justified button lol.

Brad Beach

I was yelling at my screen when BJ was saying there's no way this is based on a true story!!! So, thanks for that.. lol

Dan Gonya

I don't think I've seen this movie in 25 years! The smash cut to the basset hound killed me. 🤣

Saints_Madness

Huh, It was based on a true story. Haven't seen that one in a long time as well. But you can't go wrong with John Candy, Yea another good one. lol yea back when a whopper cost .99 cents, Blockbuster, and pogs.

Awesome can’t wait to watch this with y’all!

Delia Sewell

Miracle is a great Olympic movie to watch

Dan Gonya

Man, I was watching Asia and when she teared up, I couldn't help it and started to cry myself. ❤️

Dan Gonya

Also, watch The Sandlot like the player said to watch next. 🤣

Dan Gonya

This is in fact based on a true story. There was a Jamaican bobsleighd team. But the film took some liberties with the details.

Pombzor

haha sweden is not cold BJ

Carol Rocha

RANSOM IS AWESOME!! You would LOVE it!!

Carol Rocha

Have heard this name. Great to watch with the fam! ❤️

Carol Rocha

THIS WAS REAL. 1988 Olympics. Calgary, Alberta Canada; then they DID go back in 1992; and later they had a WOMEN’s team!! This was such a great movie! 🍿

Carol Rocha

You guys have to watch RUNAWAY JURY! You’d love it! 🥰

Angelfish Luva

I was a huge fan of Doug E. Doug back in the day, loved him in this movie and he was in another movie with John Leguizamo called "Hangin with the Homeboys". Early 90's movie that played all the time on HBO but nobody remembers it. If you are bored one night its a 90's cheesy fun watch!

Nick

You all should react to the movie “Vampire In Brooklyn”

Todd Williamson

Yes, it is based on a true story. I've read from a guy that was one of the bobsleders, the only real truth in the whole move was the crash. 1988 was the first year that Jamaica 🇯🇲 had a bobsled team in the Olympics.

Jesse McAdams

God I miss John Candy. He's the 1 actor that I wish could come back.

Sapporo Dragon

Another one checked off my list of movies based on real life events. Well, loosely based in this case. Did you know that footage from the actual Jamaican bobsled team was used in this movie? Especially the crash scene.

David Croft-Ogawa

Now you have to see Blades of Glory!! Great reactions!

Sometimes

i had actually never seen this movie before. I loved it! Thanks for all youse two's doose.

Peter Dominguez

The original Jamaican Bobsled is on display in Ocho Rios, I believe…

Poopy McDoodooface

This was such a great great movie. I've seen it a million times, but every time I watch it my eyes water like Asia's did.
