Darth Brooks

Movie night! Gonna dive in shortly making some homemade chicken stock and noodles hope everyone enjoys the movie✌❤ fam!

Rebecca Karsner

I haven't watched this in a while.. I remember thinking I didn't understand the ending.. so I'm excited to watch it again!!! ☺️

Karl Kraus

aren't you watching pirates of the caribbean 3 anytime soon? it's been months

Josiah Kane

Hell yeah, I re-subscribed at the perfect time. My profile pic here is Cormac McCarthy, who wrote the novel this film is based on. Can't wait to watch this reaction.

Carol Rocha

Oh Lord. Poor Asia!! I hope you got through this ok. I was worried for you when I saw this movie title. Here we go.

TinCan Cosmanaut

No music or soundtrack the whole movie It doesnt tell you how to feel However you feel watching is right

Michael Lynch

It’s a mess, ain’t it sheriff? If it ain’t, it’ll do till the mess gets here.

Rebecca Karsner

Hope you're feeling a bit better! I know I just got home and about to dive on in very shortly! Enjoy!!

Darth Brooks

Thanks! I'm getting there slowly, it's the trying to sleep completely stuffed up that is always the worst.

Rebecca Karsner

Yea I hear that! It's always the worst!! I always use the Vicks vapor rub.. just a little by my nose to open my sinuses.

Russ D

Finally!! 😁

Darth Brooks

I use that even when I'm not sick right before bed helps me sleep lmao. Yeah I was kinda bummed out can't go see my Dad until I test negative for at least 48 hours. So I hope nothing happens between now and then🤞

Rebecca Karsner

Aww man that sucks!! But yea better safe then sorry! I totally understand. I take care of my parents and worry about getting them sick especially since I run a store and deal with people all day. But I'll be hoping you test negative!!! 🤞🤞🙏

Darth Brooks

Yeah definitely better safe than sorry. Dad is stage 4 on hospice care and working with one lung. Too frail to risk anything so really gotta be careful with who visits and make sure they have no illness.

JL Green

I've watched this movie multiple times and I am throughly convinced in the third act Tommy Lee Jones at some point while sitting on the bed of the hotel room felt Anton's presence when in fact he was in the closet.

Rebecca Karsner

Omg I'm so sorry! I'll be praying your family!! 🥹🙏

Deep Dives

Great movie and your reaction had me rolling, lol. Javier Bardem played Anton the psycho killer. He played another great psycho villain in Skyfall, please consider it!

Matt

good reaction

Josh

Guys are on a role! Mad Max Fury-Road, Top Gun - Maverick, and now No Country For Old Men 👍👍👍

Josip Buretić

Great movie, now that I am on vacation I will have so much time to watch your reactions. Looking forward to a great time

Josip Buretić

I feel you Darth!! I've lost last year my father(cancer) I send you and your family positive thoughts 🙏🏻❤️

Kevin

Anton to me is so much cooler of a villain when you don’t know his back story. To me he has no affiliation with any party he is just a force of nature that won’t stop until he gets whatever he is after like The Joker or Michael Myers.

Kevin

Javier Bardem was fantastic as the killer/psychopath! Great reaction!! I love how invested you guys get into the movies! Lol! Anyways can't wait for what drops next. I may not be able to watch anything for the next few days because my job is finally sending me somewhere awesome! I'm going to New Orleans tomorrow!! And my birthday is Sunday so this is gonna be awesome!! Anybody ever been there? Please recommend some places to check out!! Thank you 😊

Darth Brooks

Sorry for you loss Josip and thanks for the positive thoughts and vibes.

Jacqueline Separovich

Great reaction, as always! You two really should react to “As Good As It Gets” (Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt won best actor and best actress Oscar’s for it; it’s THAT good) and “Little Miss Sunshine” both are standouts!!!

Josip Buretić

Thank you very much!! You're welcome 🙏🏻❤️

Matt

So great to see your reactions! This one has been a long time coming. One of my favorite all time movies!

Matt

Finally going to start reading “Blood Meridian” this weekend. Have read a few of his other works. Not for the faint of heart! R.I.P.

The in unisen "TIME TO GO" was a classic 😂😂

Jason C

The lead actor in this, Josh Brolin, (the guy being hunted), plays Thanos in the Marvel's Avengers movies. He's also in another movie with Tommy Lee Jones (the Sheriff in this). They both play the same character in "Men in Black 3." Josh Brolin plays the younger version of Tommy Lee Jones's character in that movie. He also plays the time traveler in Deadpool 2, which you guys watched a little while ago. Lotta good actors in this film. I think Javier's role as the "hitman" goes without saying.

Karim

If you like this checkout Blood Simple same directors

Saints_Madness

lol, That's the best reaction. Save that for the Asia and BJ highlights. 'Time to go". And I think I know why your headphones are having issues. the way Asia jumped out of them is causing some wear and tear. But maybe some computer maintenance is needed. If your using a windows os, hold the windows key down and press R. You'll then have the open run command opened, type in MRT and click yes, and then a full scan. It'll take awhile so do this when your not really going to be using the computer. Defragment your computer as well and that could help or in fact it could be the headphones. I never really had issues with my headphones because I maintenance it all the time. It could also be the jack is loose within the pc itself which requires you to open it up and tighten it back up. Its always fun to troubleshoot pc issues.

Michael Lynch

The title of this movie is actually pretty easy to understand. The very first conversation in the movie is Tommy Lee Jones, talking about the old timers and how they didn’t even carry guns. I guess he was alluding to the fact that it was a lot safer back in the older days. well in this time during the movie, it was a lot more dangerous and you needed a gun. Therefore, this is no country for old men.

Michael Lynch

Also, the two guys in the desert that Shigur killed. Before he killed them, one of them asked if he was gonna ride bitch. He didn’t just ask him if he was gonna ride with them. Back in the day riding bitch meant sit in the middle. That’s what he was asking him.

Riley

"TIME TO GO!" y'all that was perfect lmao

Joshua Coe

Shutter Island is my favorite film of all time. Zodiac being a seriously close 2nd.

asiaandbj

Definitely will give this a try. Thank you for the information! We most certainly appreciate that!! Thank you for being here and being apart of our fam here on Patreon. 💯

J.R. Mahan

I love this movie. It's considered one of the best films ever. But, you need to wait 3 months and watch it again. You missed a few things. And, wait a few more months and watch it again. The killer was hired by the guy in office that he killed.

Joshua Coe

Shutter Island soon hopefully. You're the best Asia and BJ!

Anthony

2026-09-05 06:00 I think it's about violence, how it can be random or on target. I think the hitman was just that, a hitman. No morals to speak of. He shot anyone who saw him or connected him to any of the crimes in any way. He was a gun for hire. He worked for the people who were paying him and that was it. He didn't care about anything else. He was what he was, dealing death on coin flips period. In fact I was thinking at the end he kept watching the young boys on the bikes in his rearview mirror. I pretty much figured he was going to stop and shoot them because they were witnesses to him coming out of that house and driving away. I also thought it was very odd that there was no gunshot heard so I was not sure if Carla Jean made it or not. Lewellen was a unfortunate example of what happens when greed overtakes you. I think this film also shows a struggle for dignity, in death, in life, old age, and people facing their own mortality. It makes what happens at the end kind of moot. Tommy Lee Jones character quits because he no longer can understand the world he lives in. Then he dreams about his dad. The first dream is about money and is quickly forgotten, rather like the plot. The second dream is about his dad riding off on horseback into a cold darkness, which is what we all face as we near death.

Darth Brooks

Just finished and when Asia caught that secondhand whiplash I about choked on my drink 😂😂😂

KimM

Good summation. Death is a certainty for us all no matter in which manner it comes. I don't know why, but this movie always reminds me about the series "Six Feet Under". The opening to each episode always makes you think hard!

Jason Murillo

Asia is right on describing Chigurh as "invincible," cuz in the novel the movie is based on that character is basically unkillable. He's less a man and more a force of nature that no one can stop or understand.

mark

"maybe it was your big ol head" Ha! Yall nice together. This movie right here?....Yup!
