My Marvel expertise is kinda all over the place. I haven't seen every Marvel movie. But I've seen all the Avengers movies. I absolutely loved Wandavision! I haven't seen any of the Thor films lol. So this should be fun!

I have yet to watch Wandavision it's on my list. I think you'll like Thor it has some good humor/action and Kat Dennings role as comic relief/best friend is awesome.

Yes! Natalie Portman plays Padme in Star Wars! She's Anakin Skywalker's love interest and is the mother of Leia & Luke! She was in Episode 1-3, so the last 3 SW films you guys watched! On a side note, don't feel so bad about watching a couple "out of order." When you think about it, basically EVERYONE watched the Marvel's movies out of order because the movies didn't release in timeline order so while everyone was watching the movies when they were new, the timeline was everywhere. It's the recommended method of watching NOW, sure, but it's really only suggested so that the viewer has a better understanding of the universe and its stories as they tie in to each other. As long as you can piece it together yourself, it's not really a big deal if you watch them in any particular order. But hey, watch them as you see fit! Also yes, there's 4 Thor movies and he appears in a total of 9 movies in the Marvel's Cinematic Universe! This is far from the last time you'll see him, should this journey continue!

That's the worst way to watch a franchise. ALWAYS do release order when it's your first time. That's how it's written and the Easter Eggs, foreshadowing, callbacks, etc don't work if you watch it chronologically. That's like watching Star wars in chronological order and completely ruining the Vader revel in ESB.

can't disagree more. just because the saps that watched them when they came out had to eat what the disney brass decided to release doesn't mean those that have them all in their paw have to. for newbies the best way is chronological because they dunno who the crap everyone is. those that grew up with the comics its way easier if out of order. i got a feelin we gonna disagree. which is fine. : )

oh one more point to my friend adrian. you gotta meber lucas spent ages crafting that franchise. i mean the guy wouldnt even put out return of the jedi till tech caught up. and his waiting for 1-3 that long when he coulda just made bank brands him a true story teller. the mcu did not have a lucas. they had disney brass running the show. is a miracle it came out as decent as it did. anyway....avengers then the second thor. i can't wait till they get to guardians of the galaxy

Thursday is named for Thor. Love this movie. Later he isn't wearing that awful wig. Avengers next. So damn good. The Odin sleep is a period that Odin basically hibernates. In actual mythology he gave his eye for knowledge. He didn't lose it in a battle with Laufey on Jotenheim. Mjölnir is Thor's Hammer. “MYOL-neer”. And Heimdahl is Hime-doll. These are my people. lol

As someone who is actually a professional writers I disagree. It makes zero sense to watch Captain Marvel and then wait 13 movies until you see her again. Hell, the foreshadowing/teases of Fury losing his eye won't work unless you already know he has an eyepatch. The people who wrote that in did so with the knowledge of what came before. It has nothing to do with how Disney decided to release things. It's about the story flow and how each film is written.

I see Asia noticed the Loki series so I assume you have Disney +. Under the Marvel categories one has the Phase 1 timeline. If you follow that you'll save yourself time, and the order is already set for you.

let's put aside the fact captain marvel sucks and is dumb because rogue took her powers back in the 80's but as to your comment mmmm. nope. : ) i don't know of anyone ever that misses the fact marvels attempt at supperman is missing in those 13 movies and only thankfully only makes it into 2 more movies or so and then not much. and as to nick fury i just figured he was born with an eyepatch and a cigar as he slid into the world and started telling the nurses how to cut the umbilical cord.
